Sorry but this is the only wrestling that matters and belts that associated with that wresting.. Keep that 2000’s stuff elsewhere…

Best promo skills?

I go back and forth between Natch, the Rock, and Jericho all the time.

Flair always had the energy, Rock just oozed smooth, and Jericho’s always been witty as fuck.

I give the nod to Natch because he changed the promo game and paved the way for the other guys but Jericho still gets me to laugh once about every promo he cuts to date.

Austin and Jake the Snake are in there but I feel they relied more on the gimmick whereas the other guys always felt a bit less predictable.

I prolly go Flair as well because the longevity of his promos. Rocks promos were like greatest hits of one liners but Ric would talk and talk and talk.

My favorite belt actually was always the intercontinental. Especially when Warrior started wearing it with different color belts like the yellow…

It was a cleaner look. I found the Championship belt less aesthetically pleasing because it was too busy and asymmetrical. Did not have clean lines.

As an addendum to my paean to Money Inc., watch Ted DiBiase and IRS' last full match ever in 2007. Both never grappled in the ring again.

It ends as one might expect.

That Battle Royale was both great and awful. (Featuring: Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Repo Man, Sgt. Slaughter, Doink the Clown, Scotty 2 Hotty, Gillberg, Bart Gunn, Bob Backlund, Flash Funk, The Goon, Pete Gas, Skinner and Steve Blackman).

Great to see so many legends! Sad to see that Father Time has everyone's number.

So many bellies and so many out of breath 50 year-olds.

Here's a fun one...the night when Cena had to face Rob Van Dam in ECW territory:

Van Dam's frog splash is a thing of beauty.

Also, if anyone is familiar with modern WWE and knows Asuka, this mixed tag match she has with Minoru Suzuki is absolutely brutal and shows how fucking tough she is. If you're unfamiliar with Japanese wrestling, Suzuki is often described as a man without a soul and has long been known for working some pretty stiff (aka hard hitting) matches.

The Asuka/Suzuki stuff starts around the 19:00 mark. It can get a little uncomfortable, but holy shit is Asuka a beast. It's worth noting that it was Asuka who booked the match, so she basically told this dude to beat the living fuck out of her.

Look at all those cumberbunds. So out of style.

I have a Gold Wrestling Vest which I wear with my suits.

Championship = Keys!
