Aaron Hernandez Involved in Murder Investigation

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Whether he pulled the trigger or not if he was the driver signs would point to him being "in control" of the situation. I doubt an NFL player was coerced to do anything by his associates. At the very least he likely knew that the man was murdered and the body was dumped 1 mile from HIS house. So either way that makes him at the very least a co-conspirator which I doubt because from what it seems like he shot someone in the face not even a year ago. Charges on that are being re-filed. I don't think he can get out of this, and if he's guilty I sure as hell hope he doesn't get out of it. I think a large chunk of athletes behavior can be blamed on the judicial system not doing their job and locking these jackasses up. Honestly if Average Joe knew he could drive 125mph and sign a few footballs to get out of it he most likely would. Handing these guys free passes does nothing but make them feel invincible and encourage stupid ass behavior like this.

While you have a point, I can't blame the judicial system for leveraging the pull these athletes have... They could influence a lot of young people by doing something positive when busted for something. Now, there's a fine line, but I don't think driving fast is something we should "lock these idiots up" for.. Just my take.

The example of driving fast definitely wasn't with the intention of locking anyone up don't get me wrong. I'm just citing it as stupid behavior that is often ignored and tossed out. I'm talking about the guys that are involved in drug possession, assaults, etc that end up with barely even any community service or anything.

I'm just saying there should be less of a gap between athletes and the average citizen to get them to actually you know abide by the laws like we do in a daily basis. I think the problem is these guys feel they're above the law and they think their money, celebrity, and lawyers get them off. A good example is Donte Stallworth, regardless of whether the dude was jaywalking or not he ran him over and killed him while drunk and did what? 30 days or something in jail? Insane I think you get more for having a joint...

There is a local news helicopter following him around town...in his white SUV. He's not being chased, but it's still very reminiscent of the OJ bronco saga. :chuckles:

Rumor is that his arrest is imminent.

Link below is the live feed...he just pulled into the garage of his lawyer's office building.

So because of a pistol, Tim Tebow may have to abandon the pistol and become the backup TE.

Just tuned to ESPN and they were saying that ABC reported that Hernandez destroyed his home security system and cell phone within the past week.

...he also had a cleaning crew come in and scrub his house on Monday.

I heard that also. I took that with a grain of salt because if I'm a millionaire I'm damn sure not going to be cleaning my own house

Destroying his cell phone does nothing, I'm pretty sure the cell phone companies receive text messages in logs if I'm not mistaken? A kid that went to a nearby high school and dated my friend murdered a 90 year old woman last summer. He didn't even send a text about the murder, but they were able to see that his cell phone was using the tower that was right near the woman's house. That and of course a ton of other evidence was enough to place him there and give him life in prison.

Destroying his phone just immediately gives off the guilty vibes...he's done.

What's the purpose of destroying the security system? Is he thinking they can use the times he set or disarmed the system to track his comings and goings. Maybe give a time frame on the murder

Isn't this where the NSA "saves the day"?

I'm not a fan of the NSA spying, but hypothetically if a member of your family was a victim of an unsolved crime and the data that is out there to possibly confirm guilt...man you'd have to be pissed/conflicted that it couldn't be used.

This is something that would be very easy to check out. If he has a cleaning crew come regularly to clean his place, there will be documentation and records. If he suspiciously hired a crew that wouldn't have normally been there then, well, that's kind of a red flag.
