Was having a conversation w/ a friend who's shrinking their online presence and mentioned there was no way to delete your account / data here?

I thought for sure I saw something once, but no...I don't see a way either?

Is there a process for anyone who wants to remove their account?
Does it remove all their posts as well?

I realize we can't do anything about posts that get indexed by Google, but I wasn't sure if there was a "Delete your Data" function that's so typical in other online services.

Thanks for any info!

We don't have the ability to do that. Looked into it before.

If you want to self-scrub, feel free to go into the section that concerns you and search for posts you made in each relevant thread. You can then eliminate your posts yourself.

how do you know if you are signed off on all devices and if you are not how do you do it?

I always just sign off on each device.

There's not an option for that. You CAN enable 2FA though in your Security/Privacy Account options.
Then other devices will have to provide the 2FA code that will create a 30-day token.

If you've already done that and are asking if there's a mass recall token like other 2FA sites, I don't see that. I see a way to force the device you're on to renew a new token for it, but any other device will still have access for the 30 day period.

If you're not using 2FA, then there's really no way of knowing how many devices your account is logged on as w/o, what I would imagine, is a fair amount of administrator effort to track your logins, useragent strings, etc. (I would really recommend turning on 2FA of some kind though).

I think there's profit to be made here, but in the removal of someone Else's account... For money! Would that change the virtual landscape or what?

[Error 555 account does not exist]

How much am I bid?

Is this still not a thing? This seems wildly bizarre that you can't delete an account from a message board. In fact I've never heard of this in my life.

Just curious as I'm interested in deleting my account. According to Xenforo, it seems like a moderator has to do it?

Nope, just double checked. If someone wants their account disabled, we can do that, but there is not option to scrub someone with the push of a button.
