He's not even on the list :chuckle:

But yeah, that's why I said there's no real true definition. I just feel like being a stiff is different than being terrible.

Bennett is undoubtedly on the all-time terrible team. But guys like Shawnelle Scott, Coby Karl, and Martynas Andriuskevicius would also qualify then :chuckle: since they couldn't even get on the court.

That's what I get for flipping back and forth between these threads.....

EDIT: In hindsight, I should have nominated Donyell Marshall

Dude, yes! I missed the nomination thread. Hot Buttered Donyell definitely should have been on this list with his big ass and mediocre 3pt shooting.

Shawnelle Scott would have been a great nomination. He was with the Cavs for two seasons and played in 57 games. And he was truly horrible.

I did set some minimum criteria in the nomination thread. Admittedly vague, but the bar wasn't set that high:

"The only real requirement is that the guy must actually have played some decent minutes -- not just an end of the bench G-League guy who never really got in. If a player was a higher draft pick, etc., so much the better. The more boneheaded plays, the better."

What I was trying to avoid was the logical syllogism of "the worst Cavs players were the D-League bums who couldn't stay on the roster, and rarely/never played," because that wouldn't be a very fun discussion. And having a fun discussion was the entire point. So if a guy was a higher draft pick, or had some pretty funny video documentation of his basketball incompetence with the Cavs, there would actually be something to discuss. As opposed to someone like Sir' Dom Pointer or Andrew Harrison.

But other than that, I didn't want to exclude guys who were legitimately on the team, and just ended up riding the pine after getting playing time because they sucked. Obviously, I probably should have made some more concrete criteria in the original thread.

I figure we might rerun this every year or so, with a "Who can dethrone" the champ vibe to it. All these great names that missed the first time around can get a second shot.

I do love the idea of Shawnelle Scott. He's just such a classic stiff I can't believe we all forgot him.
