Andraez “Greedy” Williams: Round 2, Pick 46

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Does anyone have film of Greedy doing well against inside-releasing routes? The dude's straight cash defending anything along the boundary but I'm seeing him get eaten alive on slants.

It was his best game vis-a-vis his play and opposing talent, but, definitely checkout his highlights against LSU. This guy does a great job describing what is going on.

Still, Greedy's greatest strengths are his size and straight-line speed. He will be exploitable whenever he has to zone the middle of the field. He will be elite when he can run straight back. Slants lie somewhere in between those two.

Thanks man. That Georgia film actually moves him even higher up my board. He looks good there.

I still hate that all-22 flim of the Ole Miss game--it's so herky jerky and keeps cutting to that clock.

I was actually pretty damn impressed with Terrance Mitchell last year before his injury. If Greedy has already beaten him out for that #2 corner spot ... well, that's very exciting news.

Would be kind of surprising to see Carrie be ahead of Mitchell too unless there’s evidence Carrie is better there.

The Nickel corner slot is really a different position than a Left or Right corner. Carrie excelled at nickel corner before getting to the Browns, ie covering the slot receiver. This is what earned him the pay day from us. He has had trouble adjusting when asked to play outside corner, so moving him back to nickel corner makes sense.

Doesn't mean he is ahead of Mitchell, just means he is our nickel corner. This will be Carrie's last year, contract is only like 1.5 mill to get rid of next summer, definitely not playing to contract.

I'm hearing that not only has Greedy basically established himself as the #2 corner, but he has been the best defensive player so far. He has been picking off balls left and right. He's a natural playmaker and could ***possibly*** become a better cornerback than Ward one day.

Defense has been winning against the offense and we aren't even seeing the true impact of the D-Line since they're avoiding hitting the QB.
