iguodala is a free agent this offseason, and is the exact kind of player the cavs like. Long, athletic, and a great defender. he would be a perfect match for lebron. big problem though: $$$

I'd love to get Iguodala here but it might be real tough. He's a restricted FA so it would require a sign and trade and I don't think the Cavs have the parts that the 76ers would want.

The Cavaliers don't have the pieces to obtain [Insert any decent player in the NBA here]

Yes I love Andre to be here but you know that it's only old players who'd choose wins over money.

it will be interesting to see what kind of offers Iggy gets and if he signs an offer sheet with an other team. seems to me I heard he wasn't thrilled with the offer he got from the Sixers and was vocal about it. the thing is to me he is not a max player and if that is what he wants I sign and trade him. he just seems to as a good player but not someone I build my franchise around. would look great next to LeBron though

If Rashard Lewis can get the max, I have no doubt Andre Iguodala will too.

I actually think that Iguodala is the guy that Ferry is trying to stockpile assets to get. He'd make a much bigger impact than Mike Bibby, and the Cavs would actually be able to include Anderson Varejao in a sign-and-trade this summer. They can also throw in a first-rounder in 2009. It actually wouldn't be impossible to get Iguodala if Ferry worked his cards right.

I'd love it, but ...how ? Not able to happen anytime in the foreseeable future... But, I love the guys game ...he's a perfect example of a player with winning attributes..

I agree. W & G. I think Iguodala would be a great long term fit next to LeBron. He'd bring more of what we thought we would get with Hughes.

Unfortunately, like we said earlier, the pieces just aren't there and the situation isn't right to get him.

He would definitely be Lebron's Pippen. It is an exciting proposition. I'm starting to rhyme and I like it.

I know paxson really wanted iggy back in the draft when we got luke jackson. If he had been able to select iggy, that would have been the second feather in his cap in a row.

He still isnt as good as people are making him out to be here, but I think he would be much more efficient as a #2 or #3 option or simply playing with lebron james.

What I like about him, is he actually seems to be a really poor mans lebron. He likes to handle the ball and attack the rim and has a pretty solid jumpshot with the ability to play good defense and has good size for either wing spot.
