Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love Elliot with all my heart but I have to pass him to someone else today. He snapped at Hannah a few times and I've got some trauma with pet deaths and OCD and it just isn't healthy for me and not safe for my dog to keep the foster anymore.

I'm really sad and I'm enjoying my last hour and half with him right now. He's had some burgers and lots of love over the last couple days

Love him so much

My dog even though he’s about to be 12 he loves running and we still do two to three 5 miles jogs a week. I was a drunk for most of his life and only got sober these past four years. Going to do my best to make sure it’s the best remaining days

I’m having trouble appreciating the days we have left instead of the present. Can’t imagine going for runs and him not being there. I have only been to one funeral in my life and that was 20 years ago. Have a small family and haven’t dealt with much death, which means it’s about to start hitting in my older years. Depressing.

My cats are getting along quite well these days!

Here's my daughter and our 5 cats. We picked up another "foster", Heath. Named after Heath Ledger bc when we got him he had scabs around his mouth like Joker. He's Sir Charles half brother and fits right in with Charles and Tali.

They are sharing the little couch in this photo.

Are the two snuggle bunnies related?
Nope - they just have that black and brown, mackerel tabby coat seen on so many domestic cats. :) The cat underneath with the white paws (Royal) was adopted as a 4 mo kitten in 2020, while the cat on top (Mallory) was already 6 years old, so she was something of a mother cat figure to him. They retain some of that kind of relationship today, as the pic shows.

Woke up this morning and while getting the house ready to host Thanksgiving one of our cats (my cat) starts howling in pain and basically collapses.

We rush to the Vet ER and we are now running 1000 tests but initial testing detected a large mass somewhere around his bladder. He is 3 years old.

It will be the earliest tomorrow before we know anything and the cat needs to stay at the vet. Not a great start to Thanksgiving.

Any good news?

Any good news?
No. The worst of news actually..........

3 year old cat has cancer everywhere.....

So basically we have been given no glimmer of hope for survival past a couple of days/weeks. However we werent dealing with a specialist just a general vet. That said i doubt the specialist tomorrow has good news. Best case tye cancer is only isolated to his intestines which is fatal, but it has probably spread to his kidneys and possibly bone marrow.

I'm so sorry. In such a young cat that is unbelievable.

I hope for a miracle.
