Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is my cat Ophelia.

I prefer to call her Oaf The Loaf or Smushasaurus but the misses isn't as big a fan of those names.

The names fit, lol. Keep using those great cat nicknames.

Buddy had an ophelia and she was one of the few cats that I've interacted with that even my crazy cat wife didn't get along with her.

We put my goodest boy Stewart to rest today. The first picture is during his 13th birthday party last Sunday. Love and miss him so much.

So sorry to hear of your loss, I get it. I hope the little poem below may bring you some comfort -

Grieve not, nor

speak of me with tears, but laugh and

talk of me as if I were

beside you.

I loved you so…

‘Twas heaven

here with you.

I love my moms dog, I have no friends and he's honestly probably my best friend, love the guy. I have no pets myself. Pets obsession in this country is too damn high. People hate other people. Would give a blanket to a cold dog before a person. You try to date a girl and her two big ass dogs get to sleep on the bed before you. People need help

Dogs are a vulnerable creature that live for affection and behave pretty non-contentiously unless they're shitting on the floor.

People are hard to deal with more often than not, and in the span of 13 years if you were to spend the same amount of time with one as you would a dog, flat out a lot more shit is going down with the person than the dog. Dogs can't even talk.

Gimme the dog

You're projecting a whole lot of shit right there. Read the room.

I apologize. I should've read the previous messages which I didn't. My mom's dog is 10 now so he's getting up there and it hurts that he won't be here one day. I shouldn't have trash talked pets. Just posting in anger about my own inadequacies. If you ask can delete my previous message go ahead

Your average person doesn't get married in their early twenties any more, and so dogs have naturally replaced children for a working adult post-graduate. You finish college, move away to start a new job, and get a dog. Dogs are fun and don't effectively end your current life as you know it for 18+ years like having a kid does, which is why we're seeing this trend. Young people want to enjoy their twenties but still want to have something akin to a child, and dogs have taken that place because they're way lower maintenance and you can actually pretty easily leave them for a weekend, or even a week, to go on vacation, and they can be left at home unsupervised for hours at a time as well. That's obviously ideal for someone young and working.

@Sebastian behold the 10 month Moki. He might not be Maine coons 100% but has a lot of it in him. Lots of chirping, very vocal, and a beast of a cat 10 pounds before 10 months. He is still gaining 8oz a month so I imagine he has a good amount of growing left
What a glorious creature!

He looks like a fierce predator!

Yeah, my Maine Coon outweighs most every cat he comes across.

He is terrified of 2 lb kittens.
So pretty sure this is a learned behave from the asshole adult cat in the house, but just wanted to check. Any chance your boy hisses at the things he is going to attack? Example: if we are dangling a string he will be playing with it, then just stop hiss at it, then go thundering after it
