Any Anime watchers?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Deathnote should be #1. Not even being top 5 is insane.

It's not one of my favorites, but in a general sense it happens to be one of the most popular ones at the end of the day. If you don't know what Deathnote is, then it's hard to say you are an anime fan lol

Which ones do you like personally?

DN for sure, One-Punch Man, Akira, Attack on Titan.

Feng Shen Ji is AMAZEBALLS. I wish it was mainstream - I think it would rise swiftly. I read the manga but at the time it wasn't animated but apparently they're (very slowly) doing that so Idk what's going on with it.

I prefer watching over reading (lol sounds terrible but it's the truth) so I prefer anime but that was an incredible read. I was binge-reading the crap out of it and couldn't stop. If you enjoy manga I'd highly recommend it. The artwork is beautiful. The story is gripping (Gods vs. Humans) and the growth of the protagonist is thrilling.

I am super duper odd, I dont like manga's and it's mostly cause of how I read. I visually read everything, so when I read a book it's like I am watching TV. It sounds super strange lol

For those who have watched Snow White with the Red Hair... am I the only one that wants Obi to get hitched to the Chief Herbalist... lol

Here is a good list for 22...

Edit:

There is another one as well (Another Eden is actually a pretty solid mobile RPG btw)

Lot of season 2s and 3s

yupp, which I don't mind to be honest... second season of the realist who rebuilt a kingdom will be coming out in Jan, so at least they didn't waste time getting that out.. Though the latest light novel had some all hell breaking loose. It was necessary but the light novel was way different than the ones before it since it barely focused on Souma...

Random recs which you may not have heard of.

Odd Taxi - extremely fun and original new show, a psychological mystery with an engaging storyline that is simple enough to follow along but complex and thoughtful enough to make you think. When everything fits together you'll probably agree on how well-written the story actually was.

Hikaru No Go - I have never really enjoyed shows about games or sports and the competitive world behind them, except this particular one which centers around Go, a board game that I never played. Remains engaging the whole time and also is somewhat educational about this game and its role in Japan. @sportscoach if you haven't seen it I think you'd probably like

Shinsekai Yori (From the New World) - a story which starts somewhat typically about kids with superpowers before it takes a very creative turn and focuses on the society itself, making you wonder who the villains are in it and how it should be fixed. Lots of mystery and intrigue

Terra E... (Toward the Terra) - similar to Shinsekai Yori but in more of a science fiction setting. Really just engaging plot and characters that you may love to hate, with some interesting statements on pitfalls of humanity

Thunderbolt Fantasy - From the mind of Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica / Psycho-Pass), not technically anime but a collaboration between animators and puppeteers, which may turn people off at first glance but offering a funny, clever, and action-filled adventure, with a similar "over the top" feel to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

I'll try to think of any others.

I just finished the first season of Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita (Banished from the Heros Party) and it's one of those I like the characters and story, but I am not sure I 100% agree with the characters at the season end but I get it too!

Death Note's 2nd act was really bad in my opinion. I think its good until the part before the time skip and then falls off a cliff.

I hold Code Geass in higher regard because of this. Death Note had the higher highs but Code Geass really stuck the landing. I can't help but compare the shows because of the "protagonists" wanting to change the world with their newfound powers.

Geass has powers, intrigue, and robots. I think it is way underrated.

I have a love/hate relationship with Code Geass. S1 is excellent and probably cracks my top 50 (I've watched a lot of anime...) but S2 was just...bleh. its probably better than I remember it since I watched it about half a decade ago but I really hated the way the plot went and felt they jumped the shark on a lot of characters

Sounds like Death Note to me...
