Any Anime watchers?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Decided to continue Overlord (s3 now) which I haven't watched in a few years. Im about halfway through the season and already bored so on to the next thing...

Overall premise of the show is fun for isekai and I thought S1 was legitimately good, but it drags after a while.

I never really gotten into Overlord to be sincere. I guess it's more, I end up stop watching/stop reading stories where I cannot agree with how the MC handles certain situations...

(aka Mapping The Trash Tier Skill that Got Me Into a Top-Tier Party is a light novel I gave up on with how he handled the one character opening up to the MC. It's not a bad story, just how he handled that, made me give up on the MC).

That sounds bad just from the title lol

It's not bad, I read a lot so it's honestly not as bad as it seems. The guy ends up getting dumped/his best friend gives up on him period. He ends up getting taken in by a top party who figures out/teaches him how to use his skill to the parties and his advantage.

It's just during one mission, they hit the dreaded teleport trap with a girl who is very tsundere towards him and they have to survive together (it was like a month in a dungeon) and they both grow to like each other and completely open up to each other. As soon as they get out, he goes a total 360 on her even though that's not his feelings at all and destroyed what just happened between them. I lost all respect for him after that...

Sounds like a bad Arifuerta

Hmm... I'd say a way simpler story. I'm trying to think of what other one it's closer to. Like I said the story actually isn't bad, he just did stuff I lost respect for completely so it went out the window in a sense... The story did get ended before they even completely finish the dungeon as well. It may see an anime adaptation eventually...

I'm waiting for this season to finish since I want to see how these shows end up... I've been trying to watch some more romance ones lately as well. I've got up on to many animes lately haha

Have you seen toradora?

I also unironically love Gohan at school. Just a really funny set of side episodes. The final arc can be hit or miss. Theres some really good fights and the appearance of the strongest character in DBZ
I love the buu arc. It's so meta. It is just about these characters who have gotten too strong for the verse and playing around with magic/god techniques.

I liked the budokai leading up to Majin Buu. Being in the dark about some of the characters was interesting and enjoyable. The episodes leading up to Buu were the most I've enjoyed this series since OG Dragon Ball.

How Togashi made a pedo murderous clown blood knight one of the most compelling characters in this series I still do not understand. He is canonically considered the 5th protagonist. If you are willing to dive into the manga, the Heaven's Arena fight is amazing. I really cannot say enough good things about HxH.

They need a second season somehow! Going about university/working life and adjusting and whatnot. I think the characters are strong enough to really pull it off...
I'd love for this to happen but I am not expecting it. Clannad's second arc does something like that and its ... well just watch it. There is a reason its the only romance anime in my top 10.

I feel like you could make a strong story of them adjusting to life outside of high school... Making new friends, troubles between, etc...

I mean the main couple, they never even mention what's the plan for both after high school. Is she going to go to a university? Is he going to work at the family business? What about getting their own place, how do they manage that? How do they manage to keep all the friends in their lives? Do their friends stay together?

I feel like having them overcome the challenges together could make for one solid story. You just cannot force the story though... Make if feel real in a sense.
