Any Anime watchers?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure haven't watched that one honestly....

Edit: Reading the info about it, storyline is way different... Though there could be some things similar...
I won't spoil it. The story is very different but both seem to be all about administrative change rather than blasting things with magic

That part is definitely the same...At least his strengths...

My daughter is 9 and is really into this Naruto on Netflix.

Any recommendations for someone her age to watch?

What other type of stories is she into?

Stories like Pokemon are geared for her age bracket, most Animes lean towards teenagers for stories in my mind. Snow White with the Red Hair is one of my favorites... Its a adventure-romance...

She likes Star Wars, LOTR, Stranger Things, Pokemon. She is still very anti-romance.

Well, Pokemon will probably last her about a decade. There's a lot of episodes there.

Avatar and Legend of Korra?

Gen:Lock might not be a bad one. I forget if there's anything not suitable for kids in it.

Avatar the last air bender is really good! That's one to watch if she hasn't seen it yet...

I think most of the stuff on Netflix is aimed at an older audience outside of Pokemon, Yugioh etc and a few sports anime (kuroko and haikyuu). I would second Snow White with the Red Hair as a good show. Not sure if Ascendancy of a Bookworm is on Netflix but that was excellent as well

@Hurl Bruce

The biggest problem with animes is most of them are aimed for a slightly older audience than 9. Most are geared towards teenagers, so you will have to figure out what's allowed and not allowed for her to see just yet. Naruto, Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, InuYasha, are all mainstream ones...

Ascendancy of a Bookworm is a good one, especially since she Is I think like 6, but strives with her older mind, to become someone great in all the right ways...

This is a nice list... Little Witch Academia is a good one on Netflix. It's more of a Harry Potter type that's not so dark... I loved Card Captor Sakura back in the day and I need to rewatch it myself... I never was into Yo-Kai watch but that was another for younger ones. A Silent Voice ended up being a legit movie as well!

A lot of the WB cartoons of the 90s were kid oriented. I remember Monster Rancher was another geared towards kids.

I was probably about that age when I started watching Naruto, Inu Yasha, One Piece etc. I was more into the action shows and haven't watched a proper shounen in about a decade so I cannot give a more accurate update. Will second Little Witch Academia. Its solid

That's true -- in saying that, though, "Pokemon Journeys" is a great intro to the franchise, without dragging yourself through all the filler and the more dated art style.

I haven't read through this thread thoroughly, but for the older-heads, I thought "The Promised Neverland" was fantastic.

Seirei Gensouki is an anime I cannot tell if I am gonna like it or not...

Seems pretty generic

It's got it's own spin... Since there is two spirits in a single body type of thing, but otherwise I cannot tell if they can differentiate themselves from the crowd yet...
