Any pool players here?

Background: Starting shooting pool when I was 4. Played in bars from 17-21. Forward to 2 months ago. Buddy of mine asked if I shot pool.......... Well yea, but its been 20 years....... Its like riding a bike. Guy at the bar invited us to join his APA league team. So....screw it why not.
Anyone else a pool shooter? Bar or League?

I used to shoot pool, 20 years ago it was in a league even went to the state tourny. My pool game aint what it used to be, but bartended for 10 years, so shot a ton of pool....still love it though.

I started at 12 when my dad got an old 9ft Brunswick table, and have played ever since. Took a college course in pool and won some beer money in school, probably my playing peak. I've always preferred APA rules and played in leagues and tournaments until a year or two ago. I've won some tournaments and been able to compete at a pretty high level. It's a great sport, but I'm too old to want to hang out in bars that late, anymore.

Pool sucks. Snooker is far better. Seriously though, if you like playing pool, find a snooker table and give that a try. I wasn’t good at either.

Never tried snooker. Would like to try it. But I'm used to 8-ball, bar rules. Trying to get used to APA rules. So far I'm 3-0, and beat a 6...4 and 6......... I'm not great by any means, I miss some easy shots and make some that should be on you-tube........ but I am a bit above average. And thats just being honest.
