I have been taking it slow (about 5 hours in) but its been pretty good so far. I probably spend too much time grinding out the practice matches but the combat is pretty solid and the story looks like it is going in a good direction.

As the story progresses you get more choices and those choices change the ending you get. Make sure you do a lot of talking to the NPCs... sometimes more than once lol

Noted on the more than once. Have not been doing that. Hoping to see more variation as I get further in

I think there is essentially 5 endings, one is you die of course/choose a root you die, 3 common endings and one rare true ending. If you don't get enough info during the talking to people you can end up dying...

I learned the hard way, I always save during the exploration time cause of it lol. Also there is certain items you can get more of some rare items during the exploration time. So be able to spend during that time (I did the on side mission that drops money, over and over again lol)

I am replaying Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana again. I feel like they should make it into an anime in a sense...

I also bought Rune Factory 5 plus the remastered versions of the original final Fantasy 7 and 8 were on sale in the playstation store so I bought those lol

One of my favorite games ever just went on sale in the Nintendo Switch's Nintendo store... if you love JRPGs, then you gotta get Valkyria Chronicles...

I've had this collecting dust in my steam library for a few years now. Need to get on it

It is a little more story line based, but it has great characters and an unique battle system. It's an alternate WW2 storyline in a sense, following a well educated son of a general as he is forced into service to save his country. You will laugh and you will cry...

I played thru a random level or two on my housemates's PS3 back in college. Decided to buy it but as games in a Steam library tend to go...

Been taking a bit of a gaming break, but its next up. Last game for me was lost sphear, which I ended up playing into the late game but never finished

I don't blame ya, I've been reading more and playing a couple mobile games instead lately. Battles in Valk Chronicles can be a bit long lol
