Anyone else play JRPGs?

I got a physical copy on Switch and PS5...

I hope this is a sign 3, 4 and 5 get a remaster... 5 was my favorite from the group

5 was good. I didn't personally like 3 much.

I'm looking forward to the Anime adaptation of 2. Not happy that the new game Star Leap is going to be a mobile game with gacha elements.

I didn't like 3 at first, but it grew on me since I like how they did the separate stories in it that merged... I also own the Manga for Suikoden 3...

Though I didn't like the fact that none of the characters for the true fire rune actually were good with Fire... Chris is good with water, Hugo is good with wind and Geddoe has the true lightning rune... Chris gets the true water if she doesn't get the True Fire...

I never liked Gacha games, but they are extremely popular so I guess it is what it is... I am guessing they will set it up where you need to summon the stars to help you save the world essentially...

You haven't visited this thread yet! I can find you a game that takes 100s of hours to complete so we can all get piece of mind in this place! Lol

Actually just finished a playthru of 1 yesterday and started up 2. Will have to do them again on hard mode but figured I needed a refresher first. Still remember all the recruitment requirements and timings for 1. Gonna have to look up some for 2, as I never owned it as a teen, only rented and finished it once.

I own three sets of Suikoden series... (1-5 and tactics)... But it was usually 3, 4 and 5 i really played since I didn't have the first two until I got into college so it doesn't have the same nostalgia as 5 does... (I've acquired like 5 or 6 copies of 5 over the years lol)

It doesn't help Tales of Graces remaster just came out and I have been in a pokemon kick either...

Xenoblade Chronicles X just came out again on the switch, so that's another on my list... (I have way too many games, this may be a problem)

I sold my copies of 3-5 and tactics years ago during tough times but I'll still emulate them.

If you ever need a copy let me know! I have extras of them lol

Since I have backwards compatible Ps3s I get to play them whenever...

I will eventually be in the market to replace my copies. I was smart enough to keep all the instruction manuals tho.
