Anyone getting the Switch?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anyone know how to actually buy one of these damn things?

Nintendo, please take my money. I want to give it to you... :(

I thought I saw them back in stock on Amazon

edit: Never mind, it was for like one day. They're back to inflated price ones. :chuckle:

Cheapest I seen one is on Ebay for like 330 not sure what the time left on it was because it was yesterday but after the fees that could be like 360. This is why I camped out in snow for two hours for one.

Initially I was disappointed that they couldn't hit 1080 P with the switch in Portable mode. After checking out this site below i'm changing my tune. The screen becomes "retina" at 14 inches away from your face. That's a very reasonable distance when we're talking about comfort holding the device. Also, going 720 p over 1080 p allows for longer battery life.

720 P really was the great leap forward. 1080 p and 4k following have provided nice steps as well. Going from 640 by 480 screens to 1280 by 720 wast he biggest leap though and probably why most broadcasters are still at 720 p.

I mean how inexcusable is it that this thing is still nowhere to be found unless you want to pay $400 for it?

This is why Target workers and even buys waited in the snow for one and we had some great conversations. Honestly waiting for this thing is almost as fun as playing it and I mean as in my memories once again waiting for a Nintendo product that was SMB3 as a kid.

Coming off their worst selling console ever I think they were a little timid with production, and have now been caught off guard with the high demand. They have now boosted their planned production to 18 million units through March, 2018 though. If they hit that target and are still having problems getting them in people's hands then they will officially have a bone fide smash hit.

Odd that they promised this WOULDN'T happen though? In my business if I make promises I can't deliver on, I get crucified.

What promise did they make? The only one I know of is that they would have 2 million at launch, and they did that.
