Around the NFL 2012-2013

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Also, not having Sacnhez's top pick contract is a win in itself.

All pro center vs lol mark Sanchez, that's not a win?

You missed my sarcasm. I am agreeing with you. We did win the trade. Just amazing that we did given the positions we received back for a QB picked in the top 5.

Abe Elam is still in the league I believe and Alex Mack is still our starting center. We definitely won that trade.

The Browns didn't draft Mack with the pick the Jets gave them. They traded back down and got him.

I's much rather have Mack than Sanchez though.

Wow Cribbs and Colt are going to be cut on the 1st go around. They aren't even making it to the final cut.

I think this is a nice spot for Colt. He's basically Alex Smith Lite.

From what I am reading though, SF fans think Harbaugh is just trying to raise Colt's trade value so he can move him for a pick or something without having to just cut him.

What's great about the Mo Mass signing with the NYJ...

Braylon Edwards was released to make room for him. :chuckles:

Jeff Tuel, the undrafted rookie QB from Washington State will start Week 1 for the Bills

Cleveland: Weeden/Campbell
Jacksonville: Gabbert/Henne
Philadelphia: Vick/Foles/Barkley
Buffalo: Kolb/Manuel/Tuel
NY Jets: Sanchez/Smith
Oakland: Flynn/Pryor

Who ya got on those last two? I got Flynn and Sanchez.

I'm hoping Pryor does great in his first start of the last pre-season game and we start him the first game of the season. Sorry for the we...

I would seriously laugh tremendously if Pryor beat out Flynn, and the Raiders traded picks for Flynn a la the Seahawks.

A tweet I read yesterday said it best:

"Matt Flynn on his way to becoming the best QB in the NFL at making other QBs starters."

Just a quick question. Now that I think about it, BigErieCavsFan made me wonder. How many on the site are fans of a team other than the Browns?

I'm not a Browns fan, raised in a family of Vikings fans while there were no Browns. Still pull for the Browns though, just not this year week 3.

By the way, I do love the Browns too (It's been a very tough last couple of years with those 2 as my favorite teams). In fact, I would imagine by 3/4 of the way through this season I'll be rooting more for the browns than the raiders. Just because I expect the browns to still have a much better chance to make the playoffs than the raiders.
