I am the best man in a wedding coming up in July which means I have the responsibility of planning the bachelor party. The groom likes to fish, which I have little-to-no experience with (outside of deep sea fishing when on vacation). I know there are people here all over the Midwest, so I'm looking for recommendations. Here is the general criteria:
- Good fishing
- Within a reasonable driving distance from the Akron area
- Not overly douchey or commercial (like PIB for example)
- Can accommodate what might be up to almost 20 people (can get multiple Air BnBs, hotel rooms, etc)
- Looking at late-ish May for the trip
I've generally been concentrating my energy somewhere on Lake Michigan because it seems to have the best reviews. Any advice you guys can provide would be much appreciated!
