I want to see him fail every Thursday, Saturday or Sunday... I love watching all the Baker Bros try and defend him. Fuck Baker and fuck Baker Bros...Ugh I want to see him be successful. I know he can be an asshole, but he was our asshole.
Hey, you've got the moral high ground, no need to be so upset!I want to see him fail every Thursday, Saturday or Sunday... I love watching all the Baker Bros try and defend him. Fuck Baker and fuck Baker Bros...
Now he’s not. Cleveland against the world. Everyone else must fail for us to succeed.Ugh I want to see him be successful. I know he can be an asshole, but he was our asshole.
I think Baker fits into McVay's scheme pretty well.
I haven't watched the Rams closely this year, but if they're still running Flood and the most demanding throws are the deep cross and the backside dig/comeback, then Baker definitely has a leg up over Goff in that scheme, from a "can he make all the throws" standpoint.
The problem is--if LA's interior can't hold up, Baker's a sitting duck.
If LA's interior were to be fantastic, I think Baker could be okay in this scheme.
He's a hell of a lot better than Wolford.
I agree with the premise, and think a healthy, confident Baker would do well in a healthy Rams team, and he's certainly a lot better than their healthy QBs.
I just don't see how this situation is any good for him, I've not watched them too much either but hasn't their line been a combination of banged up and rubbish all season? Not to mention he may get thrown in the fire on Thursday night, in a system that he was speed learning on his flight to LA, against Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones.
I don't take any pleasure in watching him spiral this bad. I'm not going to pretend I wasn't campaigning for the Browns to draft him like I see some others on social media do. I hoped he'd be a success (as long as it doesn't get in the Browns way) somewhere else but I don't see a scenario here where he comes out of this move looking much better if at all going into FA. I'd have genuinely rather the Texans had claimed him, he's better than Mills and that would have felt like a genuine opportunity (and probably his final one) to get his career back on track.
