I think Phoenix might blow up its franchise after losing to the Spurs, a heart breaker I must add, But none the less. Shaq is a year older, Nash is a year older.. I just don't know if they even want to give another go at it. On PHX boards theyre talking about how possibly Barbosa could be dealt. We would have to give them talent in return though, no expirings.

We would have three young guys occupying the 1-3.. but we need to go younger with our big men.

Plus, That would give us a quick line up to add the Brazilian blur.

His penetration skills would be a big plus, but on a team that is need of a CLUTCH performer to put next to Bron, i pass.

The guy wilts under pressure. The Suns have had tons of big games over the years, and Barbosa's name is never near the headlines of those...

If the price is right, I like it, but as our main off season acquisition, we need more.

With Nash getting up there in age, I'd imagine that if the Suns blow things up, they'll build around Amare, Diaw and Barbosa

He shot 34% against the Spurs and probably broke a record for amount of missed layups in a series. He used to be high on my list but the guy really blew it in this series.

Yeah. We're going to have to give up Boobie, Idk if some of you guys are ready for that but I am.. Boobie = 1 dimensional PG/Small SG.. Barbosa can drive, hit clutch shots.. take charges etc. Barbosa is a PG and SG for those who don't keep up with the Suns.

Plus, coming here would mean he's the #2 guy, rather than the 6th man for the Suns.

BTW: the only way a team can trade for an impact young player is when the other team is selling low. That seems to be on the horizon in both Dallas and Phoenix. If the fans have a full three months to talk about Barbosa not being a difference-maker, get Kerr on the phone. There were times last season that Barbosa was simply indefensible.

Good point, his ability to break down a defense is very appealing. I guess him having such a bad series creates a better incentive for the Suns to get rid of him and have us benefit.
