This movie was done entirely in CGI. I hope that this is the future of movies. Could have life like actors who are now deceased come back and have the leading role. More John Candy films. I'm amazed at how real Angelina looks.

what is cgi. I read beowulf in high school and loved the story im stoked on this film.

All the graphics have been done by computer. Its the same way those Pixar films are done. Those people aren't real they were made by computer. The future of this can be amazing old actors can now live on forever in their youth still cranking out new movies.

The 13th Warrior was a pretty cool take on the Beowulf myth. It's actually based on the book Eaters of the Dead, which is a true story, which is wild when you think about it.

I read Beowulf this year in my British Literature class...pretty interesting stuff...an old myth passed on to several generations and eventually translated by Monks because they were the only ones educated enough to read translate and put it onto paper.

They are. I'm so pumped about this film. I wish it was out right now so i could watch it. I used to be able to tell if something was CG or not but a buddy of mine sent me the picture of Jolie and then said that it was done by computer, i couldn't believe it.

This movie looks cool... my only question is why do a movie completely in CGI to look exactly like the actors when you can just use those actors? Wouldn't that be a lot easier? Or is it just doing it to show they can do it?
