see, Up the middle is the way to go... forget all this sideline to sideline junk...POWER running... I love it!!!!!!!!!!!

i think that he showed he is more suited than rube to start the season.

I didnt see the game, so going off the stats, it looks like Willie had a good game and Rube didnt do much outside of his long catch.

Im hoping they have a replay on tomorrow, so I can catch it and see for my self.

william had 1 nice run, and got in from the redzone..

rube started off with two nice runs on the first couple plays. the second one got pushed back.

sultan #20 cost us the game on the fumble :thumbdown

other then that, the running game was not much of a factor.. thanks to the o-line..

shelton #66 is terrible, he gets pushed off the blocks more then anybody i've seen.

Braylon looked absolutley scared out there tonight, he dropped two very catchable balls.. everytime he anticipates contact it looks like he worries more about the hit then making the catch..

Frye was solid, his first drive lead to 6 on the board.

doug johnson blows :thumbdown

way toooooooooo many penaties from our secondary...

you must have had your 2002 tape in against atlanta-- William on that show the 5th quarter even said after the game he was terrible tonight..

and how about listening to the greatest running back of all time JIM BROWN.. all he said was Rube is a great running back and is the lead canidate to start the season as the starter..Pending on suggs of course.

Jim also said Antonio bryant is the best player on the team, best athlete/ everything..

McCullough just lost his roster spot thats for sure. Cribbs is a lock now to make it he gets it to the 40 like every single time. Braylon needs some more on field time with the big boys to get more comfy out there. I hated the last 4 plays of the game a bunch of short dump passes and 10 yard outs wtf..a nice over the top pass could have got us in field goal range or a misplay on the coverage could have been a TD I didn't like it..

Rube has yet to outplay Green and he is ahread of him lepip??

Take your homer glasses off, stats are stats. Rube had his chance to start and didnt do crap from the looks of it.

dude-- you are taking this a bit too serious, and it's too late to argue with you..
Quite frankly, I don't care who starts, I've given my opinion on who I think should start.. that is that.. You are not going to change my opinion..

I have no problem with william, I just don't like his recieving capabilities and his sideline to sideline girlish running style..
I liked the fact that on his score he went up the middle "FINALLY"

I like the way rube catches the ball in the back, and the way he cuts against the grain better then william.

I am not predicting pro bowl status or anything...

But if Jim Brown is impressed with RUBE and is singing his praises, that is enough validation for me...

i was there and i must say green looked so much better than droughns!refs made some terrible calls and doug johnson should have never seen the field.when doug was playing every1 was chanting charlie...how would u feel to be playing at home and having ur backups name chanted?lol well i didnt care cause doug looked terrible.Frisman looked good also and so did the backup TE Irons.OMG did lang get blindsided on a block so bad he got knocked on his azz!wow it was fun im glad i got to see the starters play a little more.At the beginning our O didnt give our D a break at all.

Jim Brown is a yes man, sorry to say it..

But I dislike the beef with Green, not singling you out, but from everybody. Why? Why does everybody hate him?

People find anything they can to root against him when he has clearly out performed every back on the Browns roster.

Call a spaide a spaide. Im man enough to say Rube played even with Green last week. The stats were close, this week wasnt even close. 2.7 YPC? Thats pathetic.

Anything less than 3 is a joke...no arguement can made for Rube this week. He had his shot at a first team D and failed. Green did well. And has two good performances agasint 2nd team Ds.

He may not have lit it up, but he has done everything asked of him. Special teams etc..

I havent seen enough of Rube to say, yes, he is a better WR than Green. but Green isnt bad. He has always caught the ball well. He is a good blocker.

Both backs are better in those two categories than Suggs.

If Suggs starts than I think RAC throws all his credibility out of the window with me. He says the best player will play. Suggs hasnt played well when healthy, and is injured and if comes back atop the totum poll, that's just BS.

So in saying that, Green and Rube better be the ones sharing carries.

suggs is out indefinitley anyways...before that it was 2 weeks which he woulda came back for the opener but it doesnt look that way anymore.

Dude, I have been in ur possition countless times. Three is no better way to put this..."A Mac is a Willie Green homer". He just loves the outcasts. I mean, look at what he has for his avatar and Sig! One of the most hated man in Cleveland!

Ricky Davis is a whole nother story.

Lebronaliers came in talking like they knew Cavs basketball, when the fact of the matter is, less than 10% of fans actually knew Ricky, what he brought to the team and how good of a player he really was.

green had his chance the past few years and blew it every time so i would like to see a power runner starting like rube, not alot of running backs get alot of yards on carolina's def anyway so rube still had a ok game, bryant is sweet and Ewards is young and will be alot better and will have a nice game next week.
