its in the middle east, its pretty much an outpost for rich saudi oil tycons, i have a friend who is over visiting right now, he told me ferrari's and lambo's are basically like Honda Accords over there and seeing Mercedes SLR's is like seeing a Porsche back in the States, same with Bugatti's and stuff like that. Its a "friendlier" part of the middle east, but they still arent to fond of americans and you should always be aware of your surroundings over there.

United Arab Emirates... the money there is crazy. I watched a show last week on the National Geographic Channel about the prince's latest plans. One of the most expensive construction projects of all time - he had all these islands built off the shore in the shape of palm trees. Now some of the richest people in the world live on these islands:

In a totally related story, the Cleveland Clinic is trying to tap into that money. They are working on opening up Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi soon...

Exactly, there comes a point where you have so much, its only a number, and i just wouldnt want that, i know a couple people around here who have lost money in bad investments or went out on a limb and it cost them. Why do you think Fortune 500 CEO's get so much money per year? Look at someone like Scottie Pippen, dude is dead ass broke, not many people know, but he had put like $60 Million into a Air Plane that was going to do commercial flights, didnt quite work out for him. Pip may be able to elaborate a little more on something like that. For every person who makes big money in the stock trades, there are tons who have lost everything.

Scottie Pippen had no clue what he was doing. He can still make money... he has the name power to do so right now. He could probably get hired at some small University for coaching. Not only that, there's probably plenty of analyst jobs out there for him to take.

Fortune 500 CEO's in America are overpayed. They can screw up and still get paid, there salary isn't based on performance. Why do you think, things like ENRON and Worldcom happen. If you look at American CEO's salaries compared to any other company you will see how truelly pathetic it is.
