Blackmon suspended

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

WOW

okay so Im pretty sure corry just means it voids the fact he is no long "guaranteed" the money, not that he actually has lost the money. because literally that 10.7 million would be the rest of blackmons contract so i doubt that was voided. Also unless blackmon just absolutely goes off the deep end (maybe he will), the jags would be stupid to even think of getting rid of him anytime in the next 2 years. between roster bonuses and salary here would be how much he is due each of the next 3 years

2013: 2.23
2014: 3.77
2015: 4.2X

either way im not exactly worried about it

The league is always trying to keep a Blackmon down.

Boy that Oklahoma State combo of Weeden and Blackmon couldn't have gone worse in the NFL could it?

Also, Josh Gordon please take note.

#NFL statement on #Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon:

Jacksonville Jaguars has been suspended indefinitely without pay for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Blackmon’s suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to apply for reinstatement prior to the start of the 2014 season.

I guess I don't understand that. After you reach the 4 game level isn't the next step a 1 year ban? Why is it that he's eligible to return for week 1 rather than week 9 of 2014?

Possibly some grey area in the testing results or something like that. It's probably easier to get him to sign off on 8 games instead it taking a long time for the punishment to be litigated.

My guess is he toked up in Colorado or something.

Blackmon vs Richardson. What a shitty debate that was.

The Browns literally were in a no-win situation with their fans. Not that they had the power of forward projection, but they would've been blasted for taking Tannehill. Blackmon and Richardson aren't getting it done... Also, if they traded down, they would've been crushed by the fan base/media. I suppose you really can't worry about public opinion.
