Anyone else getting this? It is PS4 only so I know this cuts the conversation in half but I got mine pre-ordered and are ready to go. Is there anyone else here hyped by this?

I'm fairly hyped for it, but I am trying to budget my finances better so will probably wait until it goes on sale.

Pre-ordeded and prepared to die again. Trying my hardest to not look at spoilers right now, but I did take a glimpse at some of the boss designs. Safe to say I'm going to sink another 150+ hours into this one just like Dark Souls.

I peeked at a fairly big spoil. I will say this, there is some armor and more weapons than we think. Yeah the bosses look amazing and I was told of some huge insect like creatures as well. Can't wait till Tuesday.

Just had my first play through that was three hours long and I beat the first boss. I died more than J.R got the pipe man it was bad. After praising the Wii-U Finally this game came out and did the system wonders. I left some notes on hit and runs in the game BTW.

Haven't gotten to the first boss yet because I went the wrong way and got killed by an over leveled boar at the bottom of a sewer. I can tell I'm going to love this game.

Yeah I somehow missed the sewer and found a different route. I want to back track there for the Armorish set. Yeah the game is amazing the feeling I got when I beat the first boss was awesome. It is close if not a masterpiece if this kind of game is your thing.

Yup, got the same dark souls feels after beating the first boss last night.....and the same dark souls dread when going down those long ladders in the sewer.

I can already tell this is going to be my GOTY.

Never played these Dark Souls games though I've always been intrigued. Is Bloodborne anything like Dragon Age? That game bored me to tears and I'm not in the market for anything similar. If it's different I may give it a spin.

It's basically nothing like Dragon Age. Bloodborne is an action RPG where you spend most of your time in difficult combat. You don't spend a ton of time talking to people and going through conversations. There are people to talk to, but that's a minimal portion of the game. You're essentially thrown into the deep end of the pool and you have to find your way forward.

The only thing it has in common with Dragon Age is the RPG elements. Aside from that, the two games couldn't be more different.

My friend can't stop talking about this game. He loves it. That's all I know about it though. Sadly, I've been out of the video game loop lately besides TellTale's GOT.
