Is awesome.

Anyone else playing?

Whenever I have time to play I try to get on for an hour or two. Currently I am a level 19 commando and have played for about 17 hours.

It's a very enjoyable game with a better story line than the first Borderlands. The difficulty level is much better than the first as well.

I like it a lot. Though I only usually play it with friends so it has kind of been put on the back burner until we all find some time to play together.

Me and my one friend play all the time. We're both level 39

Borderlands 2 has the most gamebreaking bugs of any game I've played in my life.

It's unbelievable how much of a disappointment this game is.

What bugs have you ran into?

Not directed at you but this is the 2nd thread for this game

I can't think of any bad bugs I've run into. Everything has been pretty smooth.

Just myself I have ran into the graveyard.sav, along withe the universal bugs: loot dropping into unreachable areas, loot being thrown off the map (unless this is an intended "feature," who knows), shop, bag, and bank menus being un-navigable, requiring to exit and reenter the shop/ui, all the second-gun gunzerking bugs/"features," zero's action glitch where the cooldown is activated but not the power, and simply a big "0" appears on the screen...

This along with the glitches I might or might not run into when I play online, the absurd drop rates, the disappointing endgame, the glitchy quests, the glitchy dlc bosses, and the general indifference of the developer to fix long-known technical issues.... Ugh. It was fun while it lasted.

I find it ironic that the guy who made the thread about this game now thinks it sucks. Not an attack or anything I just find that funny. I'm pretty sure i'll be getting this for Xmas, but if it's not worth it i'll change my request to NFS MW.

What's ironic? After putting 40-50 hours in the game I get a better feeling for it and discover its shortcomings, which are pretty steep. The bugs out there now basically make it a ticking time bomb before before your character is deleted or profile at large destroyed.

That's too bad. I had high hopes for it tbh. I really hate when a game becomes unplayable because of glitches/bugs like Skyrim before the first patch. Took 45 minutes to walk from a store to the blacksmiths lol. Are these bugs like that? Sounds pretty bad from your previous post. I would just give it a rent and see if it was worth the time, but Blockbuster is closed in Canada, and there's no other game rental places around here.

This game would be a classic if it weren't for being forced to swallow and work around fixable issues. It's frustrating.

Got it for thirty bucks yesterday in the Steam Autumn Sale. Haven't had a chance to fire it up yet. Too many other games to play.

FYI:

http://www.polygon.com/2013/12/7/5186498/tales-from-the-borderlandstelltale-games-vgx-2013

Telltale Games, the developers behind episodic point-and-click franchises The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, is teaming up with Gearbox Software to release Tales from the Borderlands, as announced during The VGX 2013 today.

Tales from the Borderlands will feature new and old characters from the Borderlands world in an episodic, story-driven game. According to Gearbox Software's Randy Pitchford, the game "will play like a Telltale game." The first episode will launch in 2014. Watch the game's trailer below.

In October, Telltale revealed on Reddit that it was currently working on a "dream IP." At the time, the developer teased the possibility of a Star Wars-based game. Reports from last month also suggested that the developer could be working on a Game of Thrones-related title.

Last week, Telltale announced that the second episode in The Wolf Among Us would feature Jack from fairytale Jack and the Beanstalk. A recent listing on Steam for the second season of its award winning zombie-centric series, The Walking Dead, suggests that the next season will begin on Dec. 17.

There's a trailer on the link.
