Well our big 3 are up here all together (Grady Johnny Brandon). Sizemore is playing very well and Peralta is a hitting machine, lets hope Brandon's offense can come around his best quality is his defense as Wedge stated, he was brought up after we dealt Alex Cora to the Red Sox so we didn't have to pay him a 2 million dollar thing on his contract. Shapiro and Wedge agreed this isn't a permanent move for this season anyway, but beleive me if he gets on base and keeps the errors to a minimum he won't go back for a while. He needs help with his hitting which is obvious, my best guess as how to help this is to Handcuff him to Travis Hafner and hope he learns a few things, now he isn't as big and powerful as Travis and can't go opposite field as easy but he can get on base if he learns the right stuff and makes the necessary adjustments. One scout compared Phillips to a young Ozzie Guillen...if Phillips can learn to hit and pull off a gymnastic line and end it with a backflip then that scout will have a small shrine outside Dave and Busters LOL :D

I like Phillips, even though the team rushed him far too much too early on. He needs to become more consistent, as you can see from his .250+ BA at Buffalo. However, he struggled early in the year after the front office decided to have him alter his stance. His downside is Alex Cora, a weak-hitting utility infielder who shines with the glove. His upside is Nomar Garciaparra, but I don't see that happening. I think he'll likely fall somewhere in between and be a solid starting 2B for many years.

I'm really torn, he seems like such a great prospect but I love Ronnie Belliard too much, so why not, deal Aaron Boone off and put Phillips at 3rd. It'd be Left Coco Center Grady Right Gerut/Blake 3rd Phillips Short Peralta 2nd Belliard 1st Broussard DH Hafner C Victor. We have a lot of up and coming prospects don't be surprised in a year or two if Ryan Garko upsteats Broussard at 1st.
