It's never a great feeling to see a starting-caliber defensive player leave, but Richardson was both overpaid and a signing of the previous front office.

One area I feel some confidence in is the draft's mid-tier talent of 5 tech slash 3 tech players. Malik Jackson is the template of a guy who can play end on rush downs and move inside on third down.

A few guys who interest me in rounds 2-4 like that are Daviyon Dickson, Basham, Milt Williams, and Dayo Odeyigbo.

No way do i want Dayo, I am tired of not being able to spell player's last names

Ya, but think of the atmosphere in the stadium after each tackle...

"DAAAAAAYYYYY-OOOO...
Daylight come and me want go home...."

Well hopefully we can resign Richardson, but it looks like DT is now a need

But this is drastically different than it being expected.

Unwillingness wasn’t expected. Usually vets take pay cuts to play for title contenders.

We don’t know how much of a pay cut he may have been asked to take.

I really hope there's a clear plan to replace Sheldon with someone reliable. Very interested in seeing how this new hole is addressed.

Whelp, have to own what I said.

Until his play on the field proves me wrong, I 100% would rather have Richardson than Clowney.

I do have an appetite for crow, however...

PFF isnt everything, and one is an end the other a DT, but Cloney was a 75, and Richardson is a 71 grade so it did show on the field for Clowney. He does everything but rush the passer, but Clowney even at end is the better player against the run which is Richardson's specialty too.

Who's that rookie that the Dolphins cut and claimed by the Browns but did not play because of injury? Is he any good?

Also any news on Drew Forbes? Is he coming back to the Browns, seems like no news about him unlike Billings after opting to not play last year....

Curtis Weaver. He's an EDGE.

I assume Drew be there.
