didn’t realize we carried this guy on our roster for 2020 while he was injured. It will be interesting to see if he can find a situational role here as a third down/situational rusher. Sounds like he has pretty significant limitation so I don’t have hopes or anything but might be someone extra to monitor for mini camp should they have it.

Here’s the thing: we are the great white sharks circling around overleveraged team cap seals. We won’t get them all but we are in prime position to strike in weakness.
Looking around the league, this has to be the best strategy.

Sit back, wait for the Saints to cut all their guys, and get talent at a discount we've never seen before in free agency.

The rumors that we were offering so much for JJ Watt make me worried.

Nerve damage is weird. I've got two fingers on my left hand that are always slightly numb. The feeling might eventually come back, but it's doubtful. Sit on your hand until it goes numb. Now shake it around a bit, and while it's still just a bit tingly, but you have most control of your hand back. That's my ring and pinky finger on my left hand. All day long.

Back to drinking at the job because the boss is gone.

Yeah. Nerves in my right leg never healed from getting shot, actually. Knew it was a small chance. Doctors were up front about it. That foot is never gonna be right (been 7 years).

If I hear a player has nerve issues, not good.

If NO somehow gets out of this cap situation I officially refuse to believe that it exists in the first place

Well, they have to--they don't have a choice.

They're gonna have to cut, trade, and restructure a ton of guys to do it, but by the end of this season, they'll be under the cap.
They’ve already cut like 3 or 4 guys and will have one of the greatest QBs of all time retire.

For those that done know, a tendered exclusive rights is any free agent 3 years or less in the league can get tendered and they can only negotiate with the current team. They are offered a vet min contract. They can take the vet min for one year, or try and negotiate something bigger and longer (insert dick joke). This only happens for UDFA as the drafted players get a 4 year contract.

That said, really doesnt seam fair, not really a free agent right? But that is the CBA for you.
Thanks for the update. I’m sure we will get a whole update on why this isn’t fair from a certain poster whose initials are a state.

I’m truly sorry you feel this way just because you had an unfathomably stupid take in another thread.
Can we not bait each other like this?

It's been rare to have both of you unbanned on this site at the same time. I'd like to have both of you around.
