I wonder what this means. If there's a breakthrough outbreak causing a cancellation, does that mean that it won't be a forfeit?

Sounds like "If you fuck up the season because you don't get vaccinated, we're holding you responsible."

"If something happens that's out of your control, then we'll do what's best and most fair for all parties involved."

An outbreak of positive tests among vaccinated individuals likely won't result in a forfeit if I'm interpreting this correctly.

It actually is relevant. If a player misses time or does not perform because they chose not to get vaccinated that affects the team. Myles was never same last year after getting sick. He was maybe 60 percent of the player before. Getting vaccinated does not gaurentee you won't get it, but your chances of getting severe symptoms drastically go down. If I am on the team and you don't get vaccinated and it hurts our chances to win games, I am def going to lose respect for you as a teammate and think of you as selfish.
To even highlight the importance of vaccinations
Imagine thinking is okay to miss or lose a game games because you are selfish enough not to get vaccinated. That's not going to plsy well
In the locker room. P

I cannot believe the NFL is turning into medical brown shirts while taking away the freedoms of these players and forcing them to be part of a human experiment. If this is really the case, during the National Anthem any player that kneels or won't come out for the National Anthem should be suspended for a game minimum.

They have the freedom to not play in the NFL and see what the CFL rules are. But employers are allowed to make decisions for the better of the company.

Some hospitals require all staff to me vaccinated.

These idiots will smash each other’s heads in and have life long CTE but won’t take a vaccine

It's not lost on me that these are the same players who think nothing of taking Toradol as a Sunday painkiller. Do a little research on the risks of opioids and the vaccination. That's science, not politics.

I'm not getting political here... but the hypocrisy is astounding.

Yeah, and the guys who say they're not getting the vaccine because they don't know the long-term effects when they play in a sport where the known long-term effect is permanent, sometimes debilitating brain damage.

Like, come the fuck on, guys.

Keys already warned people about trying to start a political debate.

And no, talking about the vaccine or the NFL's new COVID protocol is not political in of itself.

However, trying to turn the discussion into an adversarial one, trying to bait people into a political discussion about which side supports what, is and will now result in disciplinary action.

Don't push the mods.

You do not want to miss the Draft. Capisce? Klar?
