Browns hire Andrew Berry

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He honestly is the first Browns GM that talks and makes me think that he’s well above average in terms of intelligence, problem solving, critical thinking, etc.

Like “could make more if he weren’t a GM in the NFL” level intelligence. In a real job...

Its hard to make several million a year no matter what real world job you have. I get Sports GM is rare, but its not easy to become a top 3 executive at a fortune 500 company, and even then unless CEO not guaranteed to make more than a football GM.

I quit this team every year.... And every year I get sucked right back in....

This Berry guy isn’t gonna work. He sounds to smart and intelligent. We need a normal meat head, football guy.
I mean, he can’t even talk his way into a closer parking spot.
What are his opinions on crew neck sweatshirts? A portion of his fanbase apparently worships those hideous garments.

"Hmmm, well lemme, hoi, work out a rough algorithm here with my friend Depo, and we'll get an answer for you, glayvjin!"

Grigson's draft history during his tenure as a GM was a complete disaster, made worse by his trades and player acquisition strategy outside of the draft.

He's since admitted that he was responsible for making the culture between GM and Head Coach more toxic.

“I came up in kind of an old-school way. I thought you just have to win football games and you don’t have to worry about doing those types of things. And I just never was a politician in that way. I just never felt like I had to."

"I think I paid a handsome price for when I was on my way out."

Just a questionable guy to have in the front office, and at this point you only hope that he's willing to right the wrongs which caused his failure in the first place.

In the NFL, its really just an overall lack of accountability that allows these guys to keep being hired. Between Grigson and Polian, woof....

So I guess we'll see.

Hell yeah all the Eagles do is win championships!

Former Browns senior personnel executive Ryan Grigson is serving in an advisory and consulting role for his longtime colleague Andrew Berry, and will likely be hired full-time after the NFL draft in April, a league source tells clevelanddotcom.
