Browns hire Andrew Berry

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hell yeah all the Eagles do is win championships!

This is similar to what the 49ers and Chiefs both have as well, though both have dual VPs of Player Personnel.

Then why would they use the Eagles as the example? Use a better example. :chuckle:

The Eagles....

Because Berry most recently worked with the Eagles.
Damn its been a day, forgot about that completely.

Off the top of your head, are there any other teams that employ this setup other than the Eagles, Chiefs, and 9ers?

Variations around the league depending on what they call the guys heading each role (VP vs. Director)

Denver is similar. Elway at the top with Directors of Player and Pro Personnel

The Giants have an EVP of Football Ops and SVP of Personnel under Gettleman.

The Eagles actually have three VPs under Roseman in Football Ops, Personnel and Strategy

One guy left to hire to create a full front office reunion.....

Your level of comfort with the Grigson thing basically comes down to how much you believe in the Peter Principle.

Clearly Ryan Grigson was talented enough at being a Director of Player Personnel with the Eagles to get hired by the Colts to be their general manager in the first place.

He unequivocally failed miserably in Indianapolis as their final decision maker. This is true. But does that failure mean he should not be considered for any future roles further down the trough, including potentially one he's already had success at?

It's a legitimate question.

Some guys are better number twos than the main man.

Kovash makes a lot of sense; forgot he was promoted to work under Berry during the Sashi Brown admin.

Another cat with an Econimics degree with an MBA from Chicago Booth. (I was going to apply there until I saw tuition rates, ffs)

I would have until you used the phrase on here.
