Browns hire Andrew Berry

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So is Harrison Bryant (Florida Atlantic) the only 2020 or 2021 pick NOT from a power conference?

I wonder if the Browns even considered Quinn Meinerz draftable.
James Hudson (Cincinnati) came from a Group of 5 school as well.

I agree.

Bunch of dorks on here. Well there’s a clear agreement here, so @Randolphkeys knows what to do.

The new assignment is for someone to advance an argument in favor of hobbits. If this appears impossible, a character other than a wizard could be a possibility.

The problem with an orcish GM is he might fall too easily for a Johnny Manziel type. Or maybe acquire a team of Vontaze Burficts.

I suppose a Brandybuck, or maybe a Took as long as it wasn't that moron Pippin, could be a good GM. Merry in particular might be a good GM. He's the guy who crafted the team that took out Saruman and his refugee orcs who had taken over the Shire at the end of the LOTR books. Anyone who could gather and motivated a force of diminutive hobbits to defeat a band of veteran Uruk-hai clearly knows something about team-building.

Plus, a hobbit GM have a chance at enticing some elves to join the francise. They'd probably make great DB''s and WR's.

McDowell signing is a gutsy move and goes against the grain of high character pickups must be a lot of recovery going on to buy into him staying out of jail

Well we are gambling a bit, but with the fact he was drafted in the second round with baggage... Says to me the talent is there potentially. This is a no risk signing and if he has cleaned up plus grown up, he won't find a better opportunity to win and play since we don't have any DTs actually having the starting spots yet. I don't think they would have signed him unless they felt he has changed a fair amount as well. Let's see who we have in him this off season.

Felt this was a bump worthy tweet.
In his short time as an NFL GM, Andrew Berry has done the unthinkable- he’s brought stability to a franchise that hasn’t seen stability in close to 30 years. What was once a rudderless ship is now seemingly a well-oiled machine.

I hope & pray the Haslam’s can stay in the background and allow Berry & Stefanski to keep things headed in a positive direction. With two ego-less leaders, the Haslam’s meddling is the only thing that can mess this up.

There is a lot of luck in drafting, so Andrew certainly has been lucky so far, but like a good gambler, he's doing a lot to help lady luck shine in his favor while still drafting guys with decent upside.

Eventually he'll have to cut one of his draft picks. Schwartz and Fields are the two biggest unknowns at this point, but Nick Harris seems like he has the lowest ceiling and might be the first guy to get cut, but he might not get cut for a couple years.

I don't want to speak too soon but I think Jimmy has learned his lesson. I was pretty impressed with how he handled the awful Columbus Crew branding redesign this summer. The fans were vocal and he conceded, likely costing him a lot in wasted creative costs.

Who wants to start the Andrew Berry Nailed the Rebuild thread?
