BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Since the new regime literally just came in, are there any players on the roster other than players from the previous regime?

Seems unnecessary to word it that way.

My point, thing is our new GM had a ton to do with most of the players on this team, so i dont think he is just going to get rid of players for no reason than they are not his.

I'm sure it was worded that way very intentionally.

At any rate, there are some guys from two regimes ago on the roster. If Njoku were cut, for example, he wouldn't be a Dorsey regime guy. He'd be a guy from the Sashi days. Although to be fair, Berry worked for both regimes so it's a somewhat unique situation.

If the Dorsey regime approved of a player enough to keep him around, isn't it fair to say he was a player for that regime? I guess it's just semantics at this point either way.

Demetrius Harris. Look like Tarzan, hands like Jane.

I really liked Carrie. He was definitely overpaid though. Was hoping they'd try to restructure his contract and keep him. I hope we do that with Vernon and Kirksey instead of just releasing them.

Inexplicable to me how Hubbard wasn't part of these cuts. Highest paid turnstile I've ever seen.

from what I’ve seen they're exploring trade options with Hubbard. I doubt anyone would take him. But I’m sure once we realize there’s no market for him he’ll be gone. No rush to do it right now.

Okay so I saw some cats mention going one tackle in the draft and going one tackle one FA; Humphries just got 3/45 with 29 m guaranteed out of the gate. The FA OL market is going to be rough; and it sort of has been for the past couple/few offseasons.

With the recent departures freeing some space, is that something with which you’re still comfortable doing? Or does that Avenue need to be reassessed?

We should probably start a FA Watch thread
