BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Really don’t think we’ll miss him. Wonder what his trade value is?

Lots of people here, understandably, thought it was ridiculous that I questioned picking up his 5th year option, noting that it was likely not what Belichick would do - but I also didn't outright say it was the wrong move.

If we can get more trade value than his net compensatory pick worth, I will say it's the right move.

This was pretty obvious. Time for the Browns to sign a vet WR, now.

Not totally sure how these two things are related.

WR room is pretty full at the moment anyway. Beckham, Landry, Higgins is a good top 3, then you have Ratley, Peoples-Jones, Natson, Taylor and Hodge all fighting for scraps and providing different levels of value on special teams as returners and gunners.

Circus continues.

fuck that no way I’m trading him now.
So you want the circus to end, but will refuse to trade the guy who asked for a trade? Sounds like how you continue the circus.

I think it's time to move on, Njoku is going to have to battle for reps wherever he lands but if he thinks the grass will be greener, let him bet on himself and find out. Just means more touches for Hooper and that other guy they drafted.

Idk man. Just feels like we’re setting a precedent that anyone who doesn’t want to play here can ask for a trade and get their way

Asshole. I was actually looking forward to him and Hooper. No way we get anything good for him.

I wouldn't be shocked if we could get a 3rd or 4th for him.

One funny thing I've noticed is that the general NFL community seems to view Njoku pretty highly. They think he's some ultra talent that just got injured. I've soured on him for some time now because of his poor blocking and brick hands. It's why I was so happy we brought in Hooper and drafted Bryant.

Baltimore just traded Hayden Hurst and a 4th for a 2nd round pick - I know, it was the Falcons who were losing Hooper. But I do think Njoku is regarded to be better than Hurst around the NFL circles and so I could see us fetching a 4th or maybe a 3rd if we throw in a pick or something.

Can we trade him to the Jets for Jamal Adams?!?!

***I'm NOT serious***

This is another reason I hate Rosenhaus. I blame him over Njoku for this. Wasnt Washington in dire need of a TE this off-season? Folks mentioned trading Njoku for Trent Williams. What about trading for a draft pick they got for Williams, instead?

Stephen Carlson just became VERY important to the Browns offense, IMO.
