BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Best answer is depends, they get fined in the preseason where there are no game checks, then they lose their game checks and subject to further fines.

Usually the fines are only there help the team have a better negotiating position as they usually end up getting waived when they come to an agreement.

The problem this year though, is that the new CBA now makes holdouts extremely difficult for players. The fines can’t be waived anymore by teams AND players no longer accrue time played or contract years when holding out.

Which means, even if Njoku held out all season, he would still be in the same contractual position next year, but with a years worth of unwaiveable fines.

The NFLPA is really so weak, and let the owners kill their ability to holdout.

The Steelers doing that a year ago resulted in arguably the most lopsided trade in years, AB84 for a mid-3rd rounder.

And the Steelers still won that trade...

Well, that's what I meant (that the Raiders got zero in-season performance and had to give up a 3rd rounder.)

Steelers tend to be good about the "moving on a year early instead of a year late" thing.

Is the bit about the Bears a joke? Or does Ryan Pace really have that much of a hard-on for TEs?

I'm not sure if this was a joke, and forgive me ruining it if so, but she means "bears" as a verb. As in "the previous thing I said warrants keeping an eye on the situation."

Ah then nope I just read it wrong if you're right. I just assumed she meant the Bears front office because they appear to be trying to construct a team composed entirely of tight ends.

“Been wanted out”.....does that mean he isn’t liked or isn’t good and the organization wants him out?

Barnidge is already almost done building Njoku a doghouse to stay in while on the sidelines.

Actually had to tell Barnidge to not make it too nice, you know how that man likes to build.

Aye this was funny as fuck lolololol

My season tickets are already paid for and I'm not even sure if/when fans are allowed that I'm even willing to go to any games. I don't even know right now honestly. Really taking this week to week.
