BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Congrats on not liking them.

That won’t stop me from posting their content, so if you like it just ignore it and move on.I’m sure there are others here that will get a kick out of the stuff they’ll post.

No need for people bitching about it.

I have them blocked so I don't see their stuff on Twitter, so we're good! If it's good content, I'll see it from who they take it from anyhow.

By the way, my post wasn't directed at you specifically, it was just a general comment on Barstool. You're obviously entitled to watch/follow/support.

Its quoting Mark Kay, who said "probably". It's a click bait headline.

I mean they probably will though won’t they?

I could see a restructure.

Hard to say at this point. Unless you get someone like Everson Griffith for cheaper than Vernon, there is no reason to part ways with him.

I've seen more than a few articles talk about us trying to restructure the contract rather than let him go.

I have no idea how a restructure makes any sense in this situation when you still end up paying Vernon his 14 million to miss 8 games this season, you just gain some cap space.

On top of that you aren’t even spreading his cap hit out at all because he has one year left on his deal.

A restructure doesn’t fit for Vernon at all.

Unless the Browns have a plan to replace him, letting him go is a terrible idea.

I would go ahead and just pay Vernon the 15M for this season.

There's not a realistic way to replace him with someone better for less than what he's owed. Plus it's a short term commitment, so if he has another injury plagued year they can just let him walk and move on.
