The leadership piece is good to know, and a strong run blocker who can catch is a really nice asset for the red zone. Defenses that guess wrong on run/pass pay for it.

No but I have it on good authority from the secret browns studio forum RBF that only a few us have granted access to that he Fell into our laps. I hope to see in RBF soon Lee.

With a 177 million cap, average player makes 3.3 a year.

With rookie salary being capped so low, that brings average vet at around 4.5 a year.

to sign Fells to 3 years 12 million is to a less than average vet contract

Circling back to a few individuals who we added this off-season, how solid has Fells looked this preseason? His blocking in the run game has been a huge improvement over Telfer, and when he stays in for pass protection he picks the right defender and erases him. We have only seen a glimpse of his pass receiving skills in the red zone, but at 6'7 I like the possibilities.
