Dude...
This is as deep of an offensive line as there is in the NFL. There are going to be tough cuts.
DB’s, we just revamped the entire room with a SS in the 1st round last year, a shutdown corner in the 1st round this year, signed two studs in Gaines and Carrie, and traded for a starting FS.
So, they are addressing these spots.
Sure, you can always use “more depth.” I’m just not a fan of big generalized statements.
Both are legitimate NFL starters. Gaines, when healthy, is a very good corner. Especially as a #2 corner.I’m not going to consider Gaines and Carrie “studs” they’re good depth pieces I guess.

If you think they are just "depth players" then I can't imagine what you think about every other defensive back room in the NFL.
It all depends on Ward being a true #1 corner. We just don't know yet.I’m not ready or comfortable to call our secondary a strength of this team yet.

My point is that they've done absolutely everything they could do to address this room this offseason.
Meanwhile, you're calling WR "good to go" when either Callaway, Gordon, or both could be suspended at any moment.
And seriously... 25 teams in the NFL would look at our offensive line/depth and be jealous.
Holy shit is that cringe
Roid rage.Him freaking out over Rapoport's report was pretty strange
Starting day one? I don’t see that. Unless Collins gets moved.
I think there's going to be competition for the starting three, and competition for who plays in the nickel package. Chances are, somebody is going to get injured at some point. As Browns fans we just aren't used to having depth.
