Brownsmas week 16 vs Jets

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Are teams going to be playing to win in an attempt to dodge the Ravens? If the Bills decide to rest against the Dolphins, would the Steelers go for the win to try and avoid Baltimore?

Eh, for both teams, I don’t think they mind any matchup.

LOL at anyone blaming Baker or the coaching staff right now. Get the fuck out of here with that shit. This team has maxed out their potential this season AND almost won with 3 OL guys out, 2 LBs, and our top FIVE WRs (dont forget about OBJ).

I'm looking at you @macbdog . I literally thought you were trolling most of the game before I realized you were serious! :chuckle:
Excuses are like buttcracks. Baker has been coming up short since his rookie year and given the benefit of the doubt every time- at some point he has to be held accountable. He was without his WRs, yes, but this WR crew isn't exactly a star studded affair. He had his full ensemble of TEs. He has arguably the best backfield in the NFL, one of which is one of the best pass catching RBs in the game. I'm sorry but he is far too streaky to have been the no 1 pick, especially when 2 others from his class have been and look to be studs. I want Baker to rise up like those 2 do; I want him to pull the Browns up like Lamar does, finding ways to win even when the cards are stacked against you. Silly me I guess.

Sorry, but this had a chance to be their finest hour. Instead, it is just more 'Woe Is Us' bullshit where people buy all the excuses for a 100 million dollar payroll. What happened sucks- but there's no excuse to lose to a Jets team that has been mailing it in since 2019. Just pathetic.

Also: I joke about Stefanski, he has done a fine job, but that's because I find it bizarre that the only coach that fans regulary call for is the one black coordinator while his boss gets a pass for the shit defense. Just strikes me as odd.

Yes. But the question is if it's actually a motivator to play your starters for a full game.

The answer is most likely no

Ben’s reaction says it all.

They’re not sitting.

2 other studs from the same draft class? And Baker doesn't count?

I smell a troll

Hard to say the answer is most likely anything

Ahhh there's that racism card I was waiting on.

Not like Woods was here last year putting out a bad product...

Surprised there were not wildcat plays to try and even out the numbers with a stacked box. A good staff surely worked on disaster scenarios this year, especially after the Broncos no QB game. I’m just dumbfounded that Baker put it in the air 50+ times with no receivers and a tattered line.

Partially a product of going down 20-3.
