Tonights Quick Facts

• The Cavaliers have won each of the last seven games against Milwaukee and have tallied eight straight wins against the Bucks at The Q. Cleveland’s seven-game winning streak against the Bucks is its longest active winning streak against any team in the NBA.

• Drew Gooden has averaged 15.9 points on .523 shooting and 10.6 rebounds per game in his last seven games against the Bucks.

• LeBron James has averaged 39.5 points on .519 shooting, 11.5 rebounds and 11.5 assists per game in his last two games. He has posted at least 39 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in each of the last two games becoming the first player since Michael Jordan in 1989 to do so.

• Drew Gooden and Zydrunas Ilgauskas are the only pair of teammates in the NBA each averaging a point-rebound double-double. Gooden is currently averaging 14.3 points and 10.1 rebounds while Ilgauskas has averages of 16.0 points and 12.1 rebounds.

• LeBron James needs three assists to move into fourth place in team history in assists. He would pass Foots Walker who finished his Cavs career with 2,115 assists.

• James currently leads the NBA in scoring at 29.2 points per game.

• Milwaukee improved to 4-0 when holding opponents under 100 points (all home games) when they defeated Atlanta 105-96 Wednesday night. They’re 0-4 when their foes score 100 or more (all road contests).

• Michael Redd has dropped in at least one three-pointer in each Bucks win this season and hasn’t connected on a three in the team’s four losses. The former Buckeye is 12-22 (.546) from downtown in home games.

• Milwaukee beat Atlanta on the glass 44-38 Saturday night. The Bucks have now won the battle of the boards in six of the first eight games this season.

• Dan Gadzuric needs just four blocks to tie Terry Cummings (347) for 10th in franchise Bucks history.

• Saturday night the Bucks topped 50 percent shooting from the field for the second game this season and improved to 2-0 when they hit at least half their shots.

• Milwaukee set a season-best with 64 points in the paint on Saturday against Atlanta. The Bucks jumped out with 42 points in the paint in the first half, which was close to the team’s previous best mark for a game (54 at Charlotte on November 2).

• Yi Jianlian is among the top-5 rookie leaders in points (10.3, 2nd), rebounds (6.5, 2nd), field goal percentage (.416, 1st), free throw percentage (.727, 3rd), steals (0.9, 3rd), blocks (1.8, 3rd) and minutes (27.1, 3rd).

• Milwaukee has won at least 7 November games in 7 of the past 10 seasons (they went 5-9 during the 06-07 season and 7-6 during the 05-06 season).

:chuckles:

The Cavs need to take care of business at home against these type of teams. With our depth an issue it will be a tough job as the Bucks have found some form. The Bucks will need massive nights from their backcourt if they are to match the Cavs huge advantage up front.

Boobie and Sasha need to continue to give solid support whilst the alternative options watch in suits.

OT: Howard is the best center in the East. Z's been great this year but Howard has been on another level

Ben said this....

Until proven otherwise Z is the best pure center in the East.

Howard, like many others is a power forward playing center. Battie would be center if he didn't go down for the season. Howard is the superior player though, no arguements there.

Best pure center. I'm obviously not talking about the hybrids.

Huh: you lost me there. Howard is playing like a young Shaq: not sure how he's not a "pure center". Rebounds - check. Post play - check. Blocked Shot - check

Completely arbitrary: Howard is in many ways more of a pure center then Z. He scores points in the block with his back to the basket.

He's playing the position but wouldn't be if not for an injury. I don't think its that hard of a concept to understand. Lebron James can play point guard and has done so in the past but his best position is at SF. Howard can play the position but is better served playing the 4 and will move to 4 once they get another center or a healthy Battie.

When Foyle enters the game Howard slides over to his natural position of power forward. By no means is Z better then Howard but in terms of the traditional or "pure" center he is the best in the east. In my opinion.

And when Battie is starting at "C" for the Magic who is actually playing the C position it's Howard. Let me phrase this another way: a center in a traditional setting is one who scores with his back to the basket which Howard does far more then Z. Howard is a C and it's even funnier listing him as a PF is not only is he is as tall as Battie but he's much bigger in mass. This is like calling Hakeem the greatest PF of all time when he played like a center

Gotta agree there... Z's playing great, no doubt.. But who are we kidding, Dwight is a center, and a damn good one at that..

He might get listed at a PF, but that man is not a PF.

Regardless, no need to really go over this..

I'll concede the point... but I won't concede Howard will make the all-star team as a center. Thats Z's spot.

God I hope Sasha comes through big this month so he can put a stamp on his starting job.
