Well to everyone's surprise call of duty is coming out this year. This is sledgehammers first crack at their own cod. Their previous experience was on mw3, I believe the campaign.

Supposedly code named blacksmith, I will keep updating as I find more info.

Tweets from the destination playstation event. Then the picture came out today, and the reveal will be sunday, I would assume during an nba game.

Treyarch cods have zombies. This isn't made by treyarch, unfortunately, so don't expect zombies. Expect something else, think ghosts extinction mode. Extinction to me was horrible, and it was the only reason I bought ghosts, so I will be skeptical to say the least.

However, with that said, if this has zombies it will make two straight years of zombies, so That would be absolutely epic.

Ghosts was shitty. I tried the free weekend it was on steam, what a piece of garbage. Black ops 2 was the first cod I purchased since the first modern warfare. I boycotted when they removed dedicated servers. I actually had a fun time with black ops 2. It is nice every once in awhile to have a sort of mindless fps fast paced experience. Why they can't bring quake back is beyond me. The pc or even consoles could desperately use at witch arena shooter.

Also, wtf guys, I have a nice thread about battlefront and nobody gives two shits about it, but cod pops up and people are ready to comment. I can't be the only one that likes star wars and battlefield.

Lol well then I am glad I could help. I just hope it is good. That is all I want, if it has zombies, or a good horde mode, then I will be a day one buyer, if not then I will wait and see. I will try and find that article from kotaku about it, possibly a ww1 settimg, although the screenshot, and video doesn't match that so it could be false. We will find out on sunday I guess.

I'm a big time CoD fan; been playing since CoD4, and Call of Duty Ghosts was one of the worst abortions of a game I've ever played.

I'm excited to see what Sledgehammer Games can do with their own chance as the main dev however. Also, from what I've read today, that WWI rumor has been shot down repeatedly, so I wouldn't bank on that.

Yeah stark, to be fair a ww1 based game wouldn't make a ton of sense for cod imo. All the kiddies need dem smgs so they don't have to aim.

MW2 was the first FPS I ever tried. I played it like 150+ hours. Wasn't into BO or MW3 much but I played BO2 an insane amount of time. I got into Ghosts a bit late and immediately hated it. All the levels were seemingly tailor made for campers. Stopped playing it so quickly

I think I have... 3 days tops on it. Every other COD I have at least 10 days. MW2 I have 25 days.
