When he’s on balance and following through, his shot looks good and often goes in. The problem is that his release is inconsistent. Often, he doesn’t follow through and just sling shots it. I feel like if he just focuses on that aspect during the off-season, he can improve even further as a 3 point shooter. He’s shooting 37.7% right now, easily his career high. That should hopefully translate to his FT shooting as well.

Can’t speak for his mid range shots though. As another RCFer pointed out, he’s too often unbalanced and shooting on the way down.

3/50 for me. Gets him through his age 31 season and creates an expiring contract around the time the Cavs will have picks to trade again.
The Cavs have their pick in 2024...... Then nothing to the 30's essentially.

It seems he has completely cut out mid-range shots. It's either threes, layups, or playmaking, and it has increased his efficiency so much.

I think it's also safe to say he's now the best wing defender on the team?

I can’t believe I’m saying this but caris has changed his game for the better of the team and he has been playing great basketball for a while now

I have the feeling they kept him because he’s smart enough and enough of a team guy that they believed he’d adjust his game accordingly.

His current game works.

He’s played the exact same way his entire career, it seems. Would be an incredible change if he is disciplined enough to pull it off, but a very valuable change for the team. Hope it works out! He seems like a really good dude and teammate.

He's been great. Looks like he could be the x factor we wanted, but doubted he could be. Playing smart ball and has some great passes

Good luck with that, he’s all around better then Bogdan/Sexton and they got more then that, I’m not losing LeVert for nothing, he way to valuable to this team, especially with both our guards prone to being hurt……If he maintains what he doing for the remainder of the season and into the playoffs, I wouldn’t surprise me if it took 4/80 with the 4 year being a team option….

I continue to believe the Cavs and LeVert have a preliminary deal in place. All of the trade rumors which leaked at the deadline showed us LeVert has a lot of value around the league, but the Cavs took him at his word that he wants to be in Cleveland long-term.
