Going to start this thread - really intrigued to see how he develops.

He looked pretty great for his first start yesterday and I think he even drew some double teams. I'm pretty pessimistic when it comes to Penn State football but Nassib has always impressed me. Hardest worker I saw in my time there and he turned himself into an animal by his senior year - led the FBS in sacks and forced fumbles and had almost 20 TFL. Dude was a stick when he came to State College and became big and pretty athletic.

Thought he was a hell of a pick where we got him and it seems to be paying off from the start.

Lot of love yesterday...

With so many down on Danny Shelton, great to see this new regime have a steal right out of the gate, it appears.

The silver lining of the team.. Nassib was very aware all game and was trying to be everywhere. Some really good pressures.

He was also going against Lane Johnson. It was kind of bullshit that he (Lane) was even playing.

Side note: similar thing happened for us Week 1 four years ago against the Eagles when Haden played. Kind of funny how that works.

Guy plays like he gives a shit. Really impressed by his game yesterday. Kindred flashed a little bit too.

I don't pride myself as any sort of scout, but this time last year I happened across a penn game, and my only two thoughts were: a. How overrated their qb was b. How much of an animal their de was.
So happy we have the de and not the qb.
Having said that, we need a couple more dudes like him, cause the rest look like shit

I was kidding but I’ll remove it; still take ownership if it’s considered distasteful. Apologies to anyone offended.

Really to summarize this thread. Nassib comes out as the only active gay player in the NFL. People make jokes and call his financial security into question. Then they wonder why it's such a big deal when a NFL player comes out.

Maybe for that year and 2019, but I don’t think we would have paid him what the Raiders did in FA after the 2019 season.

He was a pretty good 3rd end for the Browns. But, according to Dorsey, he wasn't a real football player like Chad Thomas. Same with Ogbah.

Dorsey set the DE position back a ton with what he did to it.
