Re: Cavaliers @ Mavericks

It's pretty sad when you are in a timeout before trying to score to elongate the game and the coach says...

"Alright stay on your man, keep your butt low shuffle your feet and don't let anyone score"

Re: Cavaliers @ Mavericks

of course he makes a 3 when it doesn't f'n matter

Re: Cavaliers @ Mavericks

Re: Cavaliers @ Mavericks

Just horrid basketball .... this team has no concept of how winning basketball should be played. They aren't tough, don't like to play defense, immediately press when pressure is applied ...no self confidence. When we go to our bench we immediately bring two one dimensional non-athletes in together, like always ...that don't compliment each other at all on the court. And Mike Brown just doesn't seem to be learning, or even trying anything to stem this bad tide. The answers don't seem to be coming from the head coach, and the players, though limited, don't have an understanding of what to do at points in the game when they are pressured.

Lebron, also, just has loads of ability but can always be depended on to stall the ball when it gets in his hands and then force shots at the most inappropriate times in games. He's not ready for prime time yet. Drew Gooden is still Drew Gooden, Donyell is still Donyell, Damon is still Damon ...you don't win with these guys in significant roles on your team. Only one winning season between all of their careers ...and that took Damon Jones being on a team with Shaq,Wade Inc. A reason exists for why they are pertetually on losing teams. They don't do things winning teams need to have done to win games.

Re: Cavaliers @ Mavericks

Just inexcusable to blow a 19 point lead to a wounded Dallas team that didn't appear to have it tonight during the 1st half.

This is far from a perfect team but it does have enough talent to not let things like this continue to happen. Mike Brown isn't putting this team into position to win or putting his players in position to best use their abilities and maximize their effectiveness. Players do need to produce but the coach can't continue to try to fit square pegs into round holes. You have to adapt your style and your system to fit the personnel you have.

What do the Cavs do at halftimes? Does the coaching staff try to make any adjustments at all?

I don't know why Varejao didn't see some quality minutes in the 2nd half. He was active in the 1st and his energy was needed. The players on the floor weren't getting the job done. Why not give Sasha a shot and see if he can produce more and maybe provide a spark. Do you remember him Mike Brown? He was your starting SG for month.

The Cavs are a playoff team but they have a long, long way to go to reach contender level.

worlds best shooter, shooting what 25% from 3pt this year? maybe we'll luck out and he'll get convicted of rape and go to jail

Seriously, could we get salary cap relief from this?

Man Oh Man......The second half of this game will be known as "the second half from Hell", by our grandchildren's grandchildren............

Dallas was in a funk in the 1st half, and the Cavs seemed to play like Dallas would still be in a funk in the 2nd. They turned up the heat, and the Cavs melted. What a terrible loss.....

Its hard to be "optimistic" after watching this game. There are definite areas where the Cavs need to improve. Im about to check out the 'Fire Coach Brown' thread. Im really starting to question whether he can handle this job......

No need to panic though. I guess its the Cavs growing pains. I just cant give up on the team......Never.......they CAN bounce back.......I must believe in the team, and while Im at it believe in myself as well, because it just feels better..........
