Cavaliers Fantasy Trade Thread: 2020-21 regular season edition

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just try to be as creative as possible, while trying to remain somewhat realistic at the same time.
it seems as if you are fixated on dunk contest participants too much imo

Would the Lakers give up Kuzma (who would play the 3 spot) and Talen Horton-Tucker for Sexton?

I like Horton Tucker a lot, but I am not giving up Sexton for a bench player and a overpaid sf. kuzma tbh looked pretty invisible in the post season. He can't get to the line and lacks an elite jumper. hard pass for me.

The real question is, why would the Cavs even consider that? The Lakers take it & run. I could be wrong but Kuzma stinks. Not a THT fan either.
Kuzma might have some upside away from Lebron and AD, as he average 16.7 and 18.7 before Lebron took over management after his 1st season in LA. Even this season, the games he played 30+ minutes, he averaged 18.2 ppg in 31 games. Hopefully playing with less pressure by not having the eye Sauron (Lebron), playing on a smaller market & getting consistent minutes, his numbers can improve. Talen looks to have best upside of the two.

Im still in the camp of keeping Sexton, but i would give an offer like this a long look

I wouldn’t go as far to say he stinks but I most certainly would not trade Sexton to get him.

One thing is pre-Lebron Lakers didnt develop their guys to the fullest. Randle, Nance, Lonzo, Ingram, and D'angelo Russell all took a jump are they left the Lakers.

I would take a flyer on Kuzma but only if it was for cheap.

Also, Kuzma is more of a 4. I definetly don't want him spending any minutes at the 3.
