What would you guys think about something like:

Cavs:
Carsen Edwards
Romeo Langford

Celtics:
Aaron Baynes
Norman Powell
Patrick McCaw
Stanley Johnson

Raptors:
Drummond
(Maybe a couple of seconds)

Drummond doesn’t have a ton of value so the chance to grab a guy who went in the middle of the first rounder and taking a flyer on a young guy sounds better than getting a couple 2nd rounders. Boston uses their TPE but they definitely need a spark plug and Norman can be that for them, they also get back Baynes who played well for them. The Raptors seem interested in Drummond for some reason so they’d have to give up these 4 guys unless they want to move Lowry. I’d figure giving them some draft assets would be nice since Powell does help them a ton.

As a Cavaliers fan I'd do it, but I don't think the Raptors *can* do it since they're hard capped. I could be wrong, though.

ETA: according to tradenba.com, im absolutely wrong. #RunIt

Orlando is a team to keep an eye on.

They've handed significant money to significant players all to just be awful after capping out at the 8th seed last year.

Someone might be able to talk me into a Vucevic/Allen front-court pairing.

Cavs get:
Bradley Beal
Ish Smith

Wizards get:
Drummond
Garland
Dotson
2 first round picks

We gotta do something to try to escape what looks like a long time of suckage.

Sexton/Ish
Beal/Okoro
Cedi/Windler
Love/Nance
Allen/McGee

Cleveland gets: Al Horford, '24 frp via Clippers

Oklahoma gets: Andre Drummond

Why? Cleveland gets an asset for Drummond. Oklahoma gets out of Horford's contract.

Sam Presti is in draft pick addition mode, not giving them away. I would do this, though.

I don't think Drummond can be traded directly into Boston's trade exception. It's like 150k short of being able to match Drummonds contract. There might be some magic that can be done with other trades to get it done but that would be real hard.

Cleveland gets: R.J. Barrett, Julius Randle & Frank Ntilikina

New York gets: Darius Garland, Larry Nance Jr., Andre Drummond, '21 unprotected first & '22 unprotected pick swap.

Why?

Cleveland gets players that fit their system better. Barrett has potential & Randle has been good this year.

New York gets their point guard of the future, a solid role player on a team friendly deal in Nance & take a flyer on Drummond to replace the injured Robinson. They also get an unprotected first in this upcoming draft & a pick swap in 2022.

Cavs get: Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown

Celtics get: Andre Drummond (exp), '21, '23, '25 & '27 unprotected firsts, '22, '24 & '26 unprotected pick swaps.

Why?

Cavs go all in. They mortgage their future but add two all star caliber players that haven't hit their prime yet.

Celtics hit the reset button & get the best possible package for their stars.

Who says no?

Hopefully the Cavs. You don't nuke your future when you're in the middle of a rebuild. You do it when you're getting the last piece of a championship team.

Making a trade like that without a star already on the roster is reckless at best, and franchise crippling at worst.

Tatum is an all nba 2nd team level guy and he isnt 25. Brown is a rising two way allstar. Both those guys are top 25 players this year and Tatum is sniffing top 10 already. Those are your stars

The Mavs seem to be willing to move Porzingis. If the opportunity arises, should the Cavs trade Love for Porzingis (one additional year of contract at almost the same salary)?

There can be a trade, ether a straight-up, or with multiple players, and some picks might be involved:

Cavs get:
Porzingis, expiring James Johnson

Mavs get:
Love, Cedi, expiring JaVale

I think they view Porzingis higher than taking on Kevin Love (especially since they're looking forward to free agency), but I like where your head is at.
