Shaq gets so many calls its not even funny. The guy should have been in foul trouble for basically the entire game, but the refs don't seem to call that 4th on Shaq at the end of the second or beginning of the 3rd (a "charge" on Z when Shaq was CLEARLY a foot inside the semicircle). But Shaq was actually not doing as much damage as Zo, who was playing like a defensive monster.
The outside shot was not falling at all, so that led to some really ugly stuff, I don't think I've seen a 22-0 run before. Give credit to the Heat defense, they played a good one. It seems the pieces they got over the summer are finally coming together, and having guys like J-Will, Walker, and Mourning off the bench is working well for them. We could have really used Hughes tonight.
The Cavs played well for about one and a half quarters, and pretty much miserably the rest of the time. At the end of the second, it seemed they could magically go inside, once they got it down to 9, everyone started trying to fire 3's to get it closer, even though it was the inside shot, penetration, and defense that erased 21 points of the previous deficit.
Hey at least this only counts as 1 loss, you just gotta hope this doesn't lead to another 8 game losing spin. They showed an interesting graphic on the season, 9-2, 2-7, 9-2, 0-6, 7-1 or something like that has been how the season has gone so far, basically huge up and down streaks
