Don't stop the ball.
Don't double Curry on the Draymond PNR.
Hope the Warriors don't shoot as well as they did last night (which was great even by their standards).

This is what I am worried about. They don't have multiple bad shooting games in a row. They can flip that switch and AI can hit 4 threes in a row. They have tons of practice playing that way at this point and the cavs don't. How is Tristan supposed to grab a bunch of rebounds and punish them when all the rebounds are at the foul line? There is no precedent for this team, and the cavs play the 2x in the year. How do you practice that?

All I see is Draymond Green setting a screen at the top--- catches the ball off the screen and just runs as fast as he can down the middle of the lane without a soul stopping him.... That play works 100% of the time.

This. Why TF do we insist on doubling Curry out to the half court logo. He is going to get his. Can we stop gifting everyone else theirs?

Not like we put a dent in his production doing that anyway. It was one of his most efficient games of the season.

This should be our starting matchups against the Warriors:

Curry - Shump
Klay - Kyrie
Barnes - JR
Green - LeBron
Bogut - Love

Just play straight up defense, no bullshit doubles. When they bring Iggy in for Bogut, put JR on him and try putting Love on Barnes. If Barnes kills Love, bench him and bring in Delly.

Curry - Shump (or Delly)
Klay - Kyrie (or Shump)
Barnes - Love (or JR)
Iggy - JR (or Kyrie)
Green - LeBron

Profit. The real keys here are a) Having LeBron guard Green at all times and b) Having Shump or Delly guard Curry at all times.

I don't take too much away from last night...other than Love & Kyrie absolutely cannot guard Green & Curry...it just can't happen. And I don't want to see it attempted ever again.

Can anyone say what's the difference between the last game against GSW and the one before that? What happened to our defense? What happened to our offense? This is the same team, but such a completely different outcome.

GS was at full strength this time, and they shot better than they did on Christmas.

That team missed Barnes when he was down, and Brandon Rush had a goose egg against us filling in for him.

Iggy also went off when he was pedestrian last time.

Between those 2 they had 26 more than last game.

They hit 19 threes vs. only 5 last time.

GSW is not making it out of the West. We won't play them again until next year. Spurs are the team to beat.

I think even Love on Bogut...LBJ on Green...and TT on Barnes would work...TT can move laterally enough and it's not like he is really a shot blocker.. Think that could work ..if not I sit TT and start Shump..ultimately people talk about GS small ball lineup but the Cavs with Kyrie Delly Shump Jr LBJ should be able to match any small lineup IMO...if GS wants to post up Iggy on Kyrie...more power to them

GS is so good with that lineup because they play it every game

Andre Iguadalajara was Andre Drummond from the ft line in the playoffs. This has to be taken advantage of. If we are in the penalty I'm not concerned at all to play very aggressive d on him. Reach, handcheck, sack tap him, idgaf...see what you can get away with. If we foul him so be it. Hit 2 Fts and make us stop. This also slows the Warriors down a bit.
