Cavs Vs. Sixers 3/30

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
James' defensive effort was HUGE.

This guy is the true MVP, he does it all. Scores, Rebounds, Passes, plays defense, come on already.

LBJ shows us again what he can do....But guys,Devin played 42 minutes...Common....He played awful game....

LOL@ the Cavs running out of headbands

No more headband Delonte!

Need to do this on the road

Eat it bitches

A few troubling points:

Only 9 ft attempts... on a team with Lebron James?
West with 8 3 point attempts? (although he did make 4)
Devin Brown should never play anywhere near 40+
Wally 4 attempts in 10 minutes, all misses then pulled
Need Sasha and Ben back.

Positive Points:

Boobie with 2 3's and 8 pts in 12 minutes
Delonte had 3 blocks and was dishing it like a true PG
Joe Smith is a godsend
Lebron had a near triple double

Here's to a Wizards loss tonight. Let's lock up this 4 seed. We have the Bobcats and that should end our road woes at least temporarily.

Anyone see Delonte when he was being interviewed by the white sideline reporter (Mike something... I'm having a brainfart)? I was cracking up laughing at the end of the interview:

Mike -Something: "So you going to leave your headband in the locker room next time, Delonte?"

Delonte: "(chuckles) Naww man... You crazy..."

:chuckles:

a couple of sloppy plays are on Delonte, and its sad when a guy turns it over 3 consecutive possessions and its one of the best games he has had with the cavs

Its funny that you mention that because he made up for it with hustle during that stretch on the defensive end.

I think we all should realize sometimes he forces the pass in his own backcourt or forces the pass on the high post which leads to these turnovers. He needs to realize that sometimes its better that he has the rock in his hands than trying to force a pass to appease the coach or Lebron. With these turnovers sometimes he simply needs to realize that he can score too.

Those 3 turnovers really could have been avoided which is annoying to everyone. There is no reason for them or were they needed. They were not apart of making a play. Delonte needs to realize that its okay to turn the ball over sometimes when you are trying to make a play, but not when you are trying to start the offense or start the fast break.

He played great in the 4th quarter when he got back in there and we saw his hustle. He seems to get alot of steals and rebounds from just being in the scramble, or sticking his head in the scrum. He made some nice passes as well and didn't force to many passes 'to' the hoop. His only forced passes were what i mentioned above.

I have said this before but when he his jumper is off it looks like he isn't getting any lift and shoots line drives off the front of the iron most of the time. His foot/ankle (planter faciaitis) seems to flare up every now and then. I think we may see him sit out another game towards the end especially if the cavs are locked into a seed. Delonte is a decent 3point shooter so him taking 8 threes is not a big deal. During his career he'll average 3 makes in 8 attempts which we should take since during his career he has been a very very clutch shooter when it matters late in games.

And thats being confident in his own abilities instead of trying to quickly defer to someone else..
He has to understand he's not there to just give up the ball, but get the offense into it's set(whatever that is:rolleyes:) and protect the ball.
