Cedar Point 2016

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
  • 223 foot tall lift hill
  • 3625 feet of track
  • Maximum speed of 80 mph
  • 3 – 24-passenger trains (8 people per row)
  • Vertical drop into a tunnel
  • 4 inversions – Immelmann, 270 degree roll, unknown “looping” element, and another Immelmann
  • Cost: $15 million
With this new information, the pricing of the coaster and what it contains is very feasible. Not only would it take the record of most inversions on a dive coaster, it’ll also be the park’s 3rd tallest roller coaster, overtaking Magnum at 205 ft. It’s also rumored that Cadillac and Turnpike Cars could also be removed for this expansion.

There's only 9 like that in the world, not all are even a 90 degree drop. I believe it will bethe tallest dive too. They are the ones that look like this:

In! Can't wait. Wife has never been, so we're going in about a month. Looks like we'll be doing it in 2016 as well.

Will you finger her on the roller coaster?

I hate when people do that over me.

Where has there been confirmation about this yet?

There hasn't been "confirmation" but Cedar Point issued a trademark for the name Valravn:

In Danish folklore, a valravn (Danish “raven of the slain”) is a supernatural raven. The ravens appear in traditional Danish folksongs, where they are described as originating from ravens who consume the bodies of the dead on the battlefield, as capable of turning into the form of a knight after consuming the heart of a child, and, alternately, as half-wolf and half-raven creatures.

Everyone knows something major is coming since they cleared that huge area for 2016. And I believe CP actually did the trademark, not Cedar Fair. Not sure if that's such a great name though for a "family friendly amusement park"

"Come families and ride our new roller coaster Valravn, which will eat your child's heart"

One-by-one, Cedar Point is taking away name opportunities for teams in whatever the next NFL spinoff league comes to be. :chuckle:

Also, this roll-out seems to be similar to what Cedar Point does prior to announcing a new coaster.

My post said OVER me and a mod must have changed it TO me. I thought over was funnier.

There's nothing trashy about fingering your woman in public. It's just trashy to get caught.

Well there hasn't been confirmation, but B&M Dive Coaster track has been spotted at the B&M plant in Batavia, Ohio.

Didn't they promise to name a roller coaster after LeBron James if he came back? Is anyone going to hold them to that? lol

They came to an agreement where his foundation would get first rides on new coasters and stuff.
